My stay at Starlings Rest B&B was great. Paul was very welcoming and hospitable. His impressive old house is decorated very tastefully and was extremely clean. He was really helpful in providing information about attractions and restaurants. Thanks :)
One word to describe our experience: perfect! Paul is a great host, his house is stunningly beautiful and everything is thought through to make your stay perfect (from the choice of towels to the breakfast). I would tell all my friends who stop by Natchez to stay at Paul's.
Paul was very welcoming and gracious given our last minute request to stay the night. His home is beautiful and in historic Natchez, just a 10 minute walk from the center of town. The bed was comfortable, well stocked with snacks and drinks, and equipped with towels, robes, and a white noise machine. Wonderful breakfast and Starbucks coffee! It was wonderful all around!
Paul was very welcoming with a beautiful home and a comfortable room. Everything was explained well, and there were lots of brochures to help us explore the area. The room and bathroom were very clean, and we appreciated the snacks available on the honor system. Paul was very available to answer questions . Thank you! We will come back when it is warmer!
Due to his correspondence, Paul made us feel welcome and comfortable even before we left home. Upon arrival, the local information he gave us was MOST helpful. He is a VERY interesting, helpful, knowledgeable man.
Paul was extremely accommodating in volunteering information and answering our questions concerning Natchez. His suggestions in how we proceed in touring Natchez were very helpful.
We appreciated the off-street parking and felt very safe in his neighborhood.
Loved our stay here in this very beautiful home . Can't wait for the next trip! Paul made our stay enjoyable and is so attentive to all needs while there. He even gave us a parting gift of Mayhaw jelly .
Starling's is a must stay in Natchez. The house itself is beautifully restored and comfortably appointed. You will have everything you need for a wonderful stay, including a very knowledgable host with lots of local tips. Amazing value for money, why would you stay anywhere else!
We stayed at Paul's for one night only, but would like to stay forever. Beautiful house in amazing and quiet Natchez.
Paul's B&B feels homey, comfortable and friendly - a nice mix of help-yourself and attentiveness. He makes available oatmeal, cereal, fruit, toast (peanut butter, cream cheese, jam, butter), yogurt and good coffee. The inn is clean, classy and relaxing. The sitting room has port and sherry. Guests get clean, white, waffle-knit robes. And his location is great. He's steps away from the dramatically beautiful Natchez bluff, and a short walk to the cemetery - which you can wander through for hours. Finally, Paul and Chris are both a pleasure to be around. They work hard to make sure you are happy, and are approachable and interesting people.
Our stay was wonderful! 5 min. Into our initial coversation i felt as i knew paul for years. The home was exceptionally clean and the bed was wonderful! My wife said it was the best nights rest she has had in a long time. Paul also was very informative about local venues. Morning breakfast was very good and convenient we loved the concept. We are already planning a trip back in the fall. Thanks paul.
What a pleasure having Paul as a guest! His excitement to soak up every inch of my quaint little town is infectious. I will welcome him back anytime and hope it's soon!
It was a pleasure having Paul and his guest, I welcome him back anytime he decides to visit NOLA!
This was Paul and his wife's second stay - our first repeat guests. They are extremely friendly, down to earth, and courteous. We are always running and wish we could have spent more time with them. Great couple!
Paul and his wife were model guests. We really enjoyed having them stay and would recommend them without hesitation to other Airbnb hosts.
Paul and his Wife where very sweet. The kind of guest that make the Air bnb way of connecting with folks ideal. We are glad they enjoyed New Orleans and would happily have them back any time.

Paul is my neighbor and we have worked on several projects together. He is friendly, meticulous, and a good communicator. Great guy to know. He and Kristine keep an amazing home in our great neighborhood of North Park.
Paul has been a valued friend of ours for 12 or so years. He is a well-read and informed person with a strong creative bent. Robert and I really enjoy socializing with Paul and his wife Kristine. Their house is lovely and carefully maintained, and Paul and Kristine are fun-loving and gracious entertainers. Paul's strong interest in historical preservation gives him a unique perspective on our neighborhood. He is a trust worthy and truly helpful friend.
We've known Paul and Kris for many years and always visit when we're back in San Diego. They have a great house, and like us they love to travel and search out the character of a new place. And like us, they love good books, good food, and good wine!
