I work in theatre, helping playwrights get their first English translations performed. I love to travel, play piano, and cook.
My teenage daughter and I stayed at Guy's place for the week she attended Berklee. We both loved it! Great location. Nice Guy! We recommend it .
Guy had an amazing place really nicely decored and to be honest the pictures don't do it justice.
The place is so much more prettier than the pictures
The location was perfect. Walking distance from everywhere that you need to be
I stayed at Guy's apartment for a week while in Boston. I felt that the description and photos of his place were very accurate. What I loved most about the apartment was the location, the option of a kitchen (although I ended up never using it because there are great restaurants in walking distance), and the washer and dryer. The apartment is a block away from a T station and a couple of blocks from Hubway rental bicycles which I used most frequently. I felt very safe here and comfortable. Thanks, Guy!
Travels begin way before we start the trip, and they last forever as memories of experiences. Our experience with Guy was amazing from the beginning till the end.
As he travels so much, he understands what travels are about and the importance of helping visitors being the perfect host. He puts a lot of effort and commitment into making you enjoy his place and his city.
I highly recommend staying at his place. As I'm sure we'll do too again.
The reservation was canceled 4 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My parents and I stayed in Guy's place for two weeks, and we loved it! We were out sightseeing most of the time, but enjoyed all the time we spent "at home" too. We were a little surprised at first because it is a basement apartment, but there are big windows that let in lots of sunlight and it is on a quiet street, so not at all noisy. Plus, it was kind of cozy! It had a great heating system (we went in winter) and the temperature was always comfortable. The beds were both very comfortable, and the couch-bed was easy to use and figure out. The apartment is decorated nicely and tastefully, and was very clean. It is also in a very central location, only a 5 minute walk to the nearest T station and to Boston Common and lots of shopping. The washer and dryer are right there in the building and a bit expensive, but very convenient.
Guy was out of the country when we stayed there, but was very helpful and friendly through e-mail. A friend of his let us in and showed us around, and was available in case of any problems.
This is a great location for anyone visiting Boston. The apt was very clean and comfortable. I'd stay there again.
Just what we were looking for. Great location and nice apartment, and Guy was very friendly and accommodating.
THE HOST: Guy was a great host! Very informative and easy to talk to! He knows and love the area and gave us great directions to everything we needed. He was not in the country during our stay but kept in contact with us and responded to emails within hours. He is an amazing host! I enjoyed getting to know him before we moved in and hear all his stories.
THE APARTMENT: His apartment is everything that he said it is! It is very comfortable, and very clean! My parents stayed for a whole month and LOVED it! I stayed for a weekend and wished I did not have to leave! If you are looking for a great apartment in Boston, this is it! It is within walking distance from EVERYTHING, including Copley Square.
The only downside is parking. There is no free parking in Back Bay, so take Guy's advice and do not bring a car! It is not needed as everything is within walking distance and/or a small subway ride.
OVERALL: 5+ stars, everything was organized, cleaned, communication was great, he left us a welcome package along with some food! We will definitely stay here again in the future! It was a great first-time experience with airbnb and we do not regret it at all.
We didn't meet in person, but the communication was great and he is an easy going guy!
