Response from Cristina:
The price I charge includes all utilities and internet and a room in a nice condo located in a great neighborhood in Seattle. When this guest booked the room didn't ask any questions about the place, so perhaps he was imagining that this was the price for the entire condo when the ad clearly says that my brother lives in the other room. My brother was on vacation in May and he didn't stay at the place every night so practically this guest had the place for himself. There is a nice big flat TV screen on the living-room and you can watch normal TV or movies, there is also a nice projector where you can watch movies. You just need to ask how to make it work. Regarding the mail I allow my guests to get boxes or packages if they need to but not bank information or more permanent mail for short stays like one month because after too many guests it is difficult to manage it when they leave, if there is a very important piece of mail then they could ask and we get it from the mailbox. For long stays of course people can use the mail box and I give them access to the key.
I wish he ask about the laundry room before booking the place, however nobody had complained about this in the past or anything really.
Also If you ask you could move the bed to a better position and about the noise after 8 am there is nothing I can do however Madison Valley is a very quiet neighborhood and all the guests love it.
All this said I don't think there is another room in this neighborhood in a furnished apartment in this area for a better price, that's probably why he decided to stay another month. I wish Jeff would ask more questions when needed to make his stay more comfortable.
