We had the most amazing experience in Florence. Beatrice and Clara, our hosts were excellent helping us discover all that the amazing city and culture have to offer. The location of the apartment cannot be beat. Literally steps to all the sights, and no shortage of excellent eateries close by. It was truly an experience we will not forget.

Everything as expected.
From the busstation it was just a 5 min. walk to the apartment where I was heartely greeted. After a short introduction I felt the way I hoped to when I booked; as a citizen of Florence rather than a tourist.
The apartment has everything one needs for a pleasant stay. No polished doorknobs or marble bathtub, but I don't have that at home so it felt comfortable right away. Being a studio in the top of a building and with temperatures continuously above 36 degrees, it got a little warm, but opening the windows -with typical green shutters- or using the AC for a short moment cooled it down quickly.
The location of the apartment is wonderful. Everything you need is right around the corner. A (cheap) minimarket, pub, gelateria, ATM and even a bicycle repair shop. From the apartment all the main attractions are easy to reach on foot. When the big squares in Florence were silent, there was still a nice atmosphere in Via Faenza from locals and tourists.
Beatrice and Clara were quick with support and informed politely about the stay, and had some good local tips. It completed the feeling of the right choice for the romantic apartment and really experience Florence from the heart.
Imposible estar mejor situada! su ubicación es genial.
Es un piso pequeñito pero perfecto para estancias de vacaciones, esta totalmente equipado.
Great apartment - very close to the train station, duomo and some great places to eat. The hosts were both very helpful and provided us with great tips! Would absolutely stay again.
My wife and I just stayed three weeks in this apartment and it was perfect. We did a lot of day tripping out of Florence. The apartment is close to the train/bus stations and very close to downtown. You can't beat it for the price either! It was very easy to spend a couple of days out of Florence and not feel bad about not using the apartment.
It was fantastic having a fridge and a stove. We went shopping and brought back our food to cook almost every night. Having a small kitchen was fantastic. We also returned for an hour or two during the hottest parts of the day and the AC would cool the apartment down in no time.
I highly recommend renting this apartment. We had a fantastic stay and would love to do it again in a heartbeat.
The appartment is so lovely and litteraly at the heart of Florence !! Beatrice wasn't there but his friend Clara did the necessary and Beatrice always answer our emails.
If we come back to Florence (and i hope so), be sure that we get back to your appartment !!
Grazie mille !!
In general, I think this is a good place for a short-term stay.
I stayed here for four months and it was a bit ill-equipt for my needs.
Pros: This apartment is in a great central location--a 5 minute walk from everything! It's very cute and uniquely tuscan apartment. The space is as bright and clean as the pictures show. Above all, it was very clean. The bathroom was nice, if a bit awkwardly set out, and the shower was great (especially for Italy).
Short-term Stay Cons: The apartment proportions are a bit different than I had expected. Mainly, the loft with the bed has a much, much lower clearance than anticipated. I'm almost 6ft (180cm) tall, so I had to crawl, on all fours, to the bed every night. This wasn't ideal, to say the least. Also, the stairwell up to the apartment is very narrow, so it makes the 5 flights much more difficult to maneuver with bags, etc, than expected. Since there is that beautiful beam-terracotta ceiling, that means there is absolutely no insulation and the temperature outside is the same inside (cold and hot). I think the A/C-heater needs maintenance because neither function worked very well.
Long-term Stay Cons: The apartment wasn't fully equipped for the needs of a long-stay. When I arrived, I had to purchase a variety of kitchen (there was no frying pan, for example) and storage items (there was no dresser to place clothes). Beatrice is super nice but because she isn't on the continent there is a lang time in getting results. Her close friend, Clara, is much more accessible and takes care of the apartment needs in Florence anyways. I'm not sure how Clara's english is, we corresponded all in Italian, but corresponding with her made things run much smoother. Overall, most of the issues I had wouldn't have been so much of a problem for a short stay.
The apartment was beautiful, in the perfect location (5 minutes from the train station) and fully stocked with everything we needed. The only problem was with the internet (a common problem in all of Italy!), but Beatrice worked very efficiently to fix it and got it working in no time. I also accidentally booked an extra night which she graciously refunded. I highly recommend staying here.
Very good person, passionate, friendly, altruistic, good sense of humor and great artistic soul... Reliable as a host, she will put all herself in making your stay as great as the city she loves: Florence.
