I am an architect. I love Copenhagen but I have a job in a different region and I rent out the apartment so that others can enjoy the city while I am away.
We stayed for one week in Mia's apartment and we loved our stay. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. As we were there in winter the fantastic heating was much appreciated. Everything works and is easy to operate. There is a delightful little view down to the canal from the balcony.
Mia gave us a couple of suggestions for eating in the area. We had a wonderful meal at Sankt Anne 8 and enjoyed a number of great coffee's and hot chocolates at Sweet Treats.
The location is fabulous a short walk from the main shopping area, galleries and Nyhavn. An added bonus is how easy it is to access the apartment from the airport using the metro.
We felt like real locals. We hope to get back to Copenhagen soon and would love to stay in Mia's apartment again.
First expérience with AirBnB and it was a real success! thanks a lot Mia for letting us your beautiful and cosy flat in the Christianshavn borrow. We had a really really good time at your place. We've been welcomed by her friend Nicolas, who showed us the flat. Very nice guy but a shame we could not meet the hostess Mia. The flat was really clean and very cosy. The shower was amazingly hot and good and we really had a good time. We've been out the all day long and were so happy to go "home" rather than at the hotel after a long day walking everywhere in town. We highly recommend Mia's flat for everything!! GOOD LOCATION, CLEAN FLAT, BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED, GOOD SHOWER!
I had a lovely stay at Mia's flat. It is very clean and in a perfect location, right down the street from the Church of Our Savior. I didn't meet Mia but getting the keys and information from Nicolas was easy. He was very nice. I would definitely recommend Mia's flat.
Mia's apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and is in an ideal location. As Mia was out of town, her friend Nicolas let us in to the apt and he was very gracious and helpful throughout our stay. Mia kept in touch via email throughout our time and responded very quickly. We appreciated Mia's recommendations on 2 restaurants on the same street as the apt., both of which were excellent: Sant Annke 8 and Cafe Wilder. We highly recommend Mia's apartment and will try and book it again when we return to Copenhagen.
This spacious, cosy, clean and quiet apartment had everything we were looking for and it is in a very nice area of town. It was uncomplicated to make all the necessary arrangements with Mia regarding arrival and departure. We would definitely stay there again.
The apartment was immaculate, full of light, and very, very comfortable. Mia is an interior designer, and she has applied her trade artfully. If you like Danish modern, this is the epitome of that great design!
The location was perfect. You can take the metro directly from the airport and end up only a block from the place. It overlooks a nice canal, and there's a small bar/restaurant on the corner. Christiania is nearby as are many sights. I rented a bicycle, and suggest this for anyone wanting to get around Copenhagen. It was less than the cost of two metro tickets a day.
Be sure to try the famous bakery a block away, LLagkagehuset.
Finally, I can say that I would enjoy living in the apartment, it's so nice! Thanks Mia for sharing your space with us on AirBnB!
Lovely apartment very near to metro. Very clean, well appointed. Beautiful neighborhood and Mia was extremely responsive though we never met directly.
A very lovely stay in a great apartment. The area is perfect for first time visitors to Copenhagen. We enjoyed the canal scenes, historic buildings and the great atmosphere of the local coffee shops. The nearby bakery lagkagehuset makes fabulous bread (muesli bread was amazing) to enjoy with coffee in the dining/breakfast room.
Everything works well in the apartment, it is functional and well equipped with good design, not over-embellished or cluttered.
Biking in CPH is easily the best way of getting around but this area is also well connected by both Metro and Bus.
For a couple this apartment offers everything you need for a visit and I would recommend it wholeheartedly.
I would also highly recommend renting a bike and buying a Copenhagen Card as it gives you entry to almost every museum, gallery and attraction in the larger CPH area-as well as all public transport, great value.
Lovely place, just off the canal in a great area. There is a lot to explore from Christiana which is close by, to the Island Brygge area with harbour pool in one direction to the newly revamped harbour area with the stunning opera house in the other direction! And it will get even better soon because more bridges are being built to link Christianshavn to the city and other side.
We didn't hire a bike as we walked everywhere, and took a tube/train trip one day, though I would go for a bike next time.
The flat itself was clean and well organised, we were not in a lot as we were busy exploring but it had everything you would need! The outside courtyard is being revamped too, with a seating area, so that will be even better soon, and hopefully the weather will be better to enjoy it! I would definitely recommend Mia's place.
This is a remarkable place to stay! A very nice clean apartment in the center at Christianshavn: only 4 stops with the metro to the congresscenter Bella, and 2 stops down to the citycentre. Very lively neighbourhood with lots of shops and restaurants. Christiania around the corner. Canalbusstop around the corner. Take slippers to wear inhouse because of the wooden floors. Despite the location near the centre it is very quiet: no noise of traffic etc.. We loved it.
Beware there is no microwave in case you like or are used to warming up take-away meals.
We would surely linke to recommend this location to anyone .
Mia was a perfect guest! Thank you very much. Mat
