We stayed for four days in this beautiful apartment and I have to say that everything was absolutely wonderful. The location is very friendly and there are a lot of cozy bars, cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood and close to U-bahn, S-bahn and trams. Apuline was very helpful and friendly hostess! I highly recommend this apartment for those who want to make the most of their Berlin stay!
I had good communication with Paula before arriving It was very easy to find the appartment, and her friend gave me a good introduction to the facilities when I arrived.
You get a whole flat to yourself: a well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and a huge bedroom/livingroom, as well as a balcony facing Treptower Park. The only minus is that it is located on a very busy street, so it is quite noisy on the balcony, even if the apartment is on the 4th floor.
It is only a few minutes away from the S-bahn station Treptower Park making it extremely accessible from the airport (Schoenefeld), and there is also a huge supermarket a few minutes away for buying food.
I do recommend having a bike (Paula´s friend lent me his bike, thanks!) which will get you fast to Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain and Neukoelln, as well as the park along Spree.
Good value for the money!
Paula flat is HUGE! Very clean and comfortable. The washroom was especially nice and newly renovated. Fussel the cat was an absolute pleasure. Bikes were a plus as was the balcony. All round amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone looking for a modest and cosy accommodation.
Paula and their friends stayed in the apartment a long week during christmas and new years eve. They were very nice people, comminucation was easy with them. I can suggest them to any host! Thanks Paula for staying with us :)
