Originally from Canada, I have been living in Paris for the past 6 years.
I work in fashion as sales representative and travel a lot!
Thomas is a perfect host! Thank you!
Staying at Thomas's place should be on everybody's 'must do list, while in Paris'. It's a beautiful place, which creates a unique experience in itself. The neighborhood is very charming with great shopping and amazing cafes/bistros.
The host (even while abroad) was reachable and the check-in was smooth with his housekeeper.
I loved staying at Thomas' studio. It was my first trip to Paris and I wanted to stay somewhere close to the Louvre, but at the same time not so close that it is overrun by tourists. The location was perfect. First, it is only a 10 min walk away from Chatelet Les Halles train station, so if you are taking RER B train to the city from the airport, it is very convenient. All you need to do is take the tain to the above station, find your way out of the maze that is Les Halles, and then walk to the apartment.
The neighborhood is very cute...a lot of shops, cafes, and restaurants. I felt that it was close enough to most major attractions. I walked to the Louvre, d'Orsay, Notre Dame, St. Germain, Le Marais...granted, you do need to be able to walk for 1/2 hour or more to get to some of these places. There are also two metro stations nearby. I found three restaurants nearby that I really enjoyed, as well as a couple of patisseries. I would recommend eating at the restaurant two doors down from the apartment...La Brigout, super yummy and very friendly service.
The apartment itself was very cute and clean, exactly as described, and staying there I felt a bit like a local. Thomas did a really good job of staying in touch before my trip to make sure he answered my questions and the aparment was ready when I needed it. Even though he was out of town during my visit, he communicated with me after his cleaning person let me in and went over everything to make sure I didn't have any questions or needed anything lese. He was open to me checking in a little earlier and checking out a little later than the times indicated on the listing. I did not use the kitchen or laundry, but they are there if you need them. The shower was very nice with good pressure and lots of hot water. The couch pulled out into a bed, which is not as comfortable as a bed in a hotel, usually, but I didn't mind this arrangement. I must say that my back was a little sore a couple of mornings.
Overall, a lovely experience and I would stay there again.
My friend and I spent 3 nights at this chic studio, location and neighbourhood are just great, we were walking all the days long - you can reach many sights by foot from Rue d'Argout. We would like to think as if we tried real living in Paris, not just tourism - the studio created this illussion) Thomas was very helpful! it was a pleasure to meet him, we hope that someday we will be his guests again.
we had a great time in Thomas's lovely apartment, very well located and very clean. Small but very functional it was perfect for our stay in Paris with our 2 frenchies. Looking forward to going there again.
The stairs will make you wonder if it is the place you have chosen, then when you step in you will feel it is smaller than you had expected. But a few hours later you will start loving the place and then once you step outside and walk around you will Know you have made the Right Decision. I even decided to extend my stay a few days more. A BEAUTIFUL apartment, in probably the Loveliest area in Paris! The fireplace, the mirrors, the ceilings, the floor, the nice touches here and there... Nice cafes and bars 2 steps away. Supermarkets that open until late. Chatlet and other stations very close. And Thomas is very helpful and generous. Always there to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable.
C'est chic, stylish and decadent. And the location is unbeatable. Go for it!
The place was great! Thomas was very helpful in getting us details and very willing to work with us. He responded quickly to our emails And the place was exactly as it was in the photos. Lots of shopping and restaurants within close walking distance , very nice area. Will stay there again and refer friends!
Fantastic spot. I'll probably be staying here again any time I'm back in Paris. Thomas is a great host.
This is a beautiful, super-chic, clean and comfortable apartment located in one of Paris' best neighborhoods. In any direction you can find great shops, cafes and attractions, including the Louvre, the Palais Royale, and the Hotel de Ville. With rue de Rivoli a 10-minute walk away, the shopping is incredible.
Thomas is a very sweet, attentive host, he explained the amenties of the apartment very clearly, and responded immediately with any questions I had during my stay.
Overall, I would recommend this apartment highly, it would be perfect for a single person or couple looking for a gorgeous nest to stay in while they explore Paris.
Clean, respectful and friendly guy!
I surely recommend him!
I highly recommend Thomas for his great place and fantastic qualities as a host. He is sweet, very informed of everything happening in paris that you would want to know when visiting, and he is a very respectful person. His place is very nice, furnished with great taste, and in one of the best area in Paris centre with a great variety of bars, restaurants, and other public interests nearby.
