Colorado summers -warm days and cool nights- attracted me here over 35 years ago. I wake up every morning with a view of the Devil's Thumb on the continental divide out my kitchen window. From the front deck looking south the view is Winter Park Ski Area and Byers Peak. I tell people this is a rural area without stop signs on many corners (road names are marked) and fewer yield signs. My daily work is 3 miles away. Two hours away is Denver International Airport. Railroad enthusiasts can ride the California Zephyr and get off the train 6 miles away in Fraser Colorado, walk four blocks and rent a car. Drive 30 miles and you are in Rocky Mountain National Park!
Next door to the apartment is my greates luxury, a ceramic studio where I make pots on a potters wheel and then glaze them before giving them away to family and friends. I have furnished the apartment with a few pieces for guests to use.
