Caitlin's apartment is great value in a great location. She was helpful throughout and responded to our messages promptly. I'd be surprised if you could find a better value deal in the city and is the ideal apartment for a couple looking to explore New York.
After a scheduling snafu, Caitlin was extremely gracious in honoring our reservation and I'm so glad she did because she was the perfect host. Her communication up to and through our stay was perfect. Checking in was easy and flexible to our schedule. She had lots of great recommendations for neighborhood eats, transit, etc. And her place is squeaky clean, extremely comfortable, and perfectly located. It will be at the top of my list the next time I'm in NY!
Really lovely, quiet and clean place in a great location, next to a myriad of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. Perfect place to stay for 2 people. The bed is a lot bigger than appears in photos, and very comfortable. Caitlin is lovely and has a lot of good local recommendations. Would definitely recommend!
Caitlin was amazing. She was super accommodating to meet me early in the afternoon at a location that worked for both of us. I came with my wife, and she told us of all the great eats around the apartment.
The place is as tidy and clean as pictured. The bed is amazingly comfortable, and room has everything you need. Smallc studio apartment, but worked perfectly for our long weekend.
The location is great. Walking distance from so many great restaurants things to do. There is a Citibike station right out front, which turned out to be the best surprise. We decided to ride bikes instead of taking cabs/subway everywhere, and we loved seeing the city from a different view. Highly recommend it. It's super easy to jump on the Williamsburg bridge, and we spent part of a day enjoying Brooklyn.
Oh yeah, and free bagels.
Really our best airbnb experience in NYC to date (location, apartment all to ourselves, clean apartment). Seriously can't go wrong here.
Location was quite yet close to metro station. Apartment was neat and welcoming. Caitlin was an excellent host.
As a former NYC'er I am probably more critical, but honestly, our stay was wonderful! Our host was extremely attentive in making sure we had a good stay. The place was absolutely adorable, clean, and very comfortable. The A/C worked perfectly, which was important since temperatures hit 100 while we were in NYC. The bed is queen sized heavenly to sleep in. Those not used to NYC apartments, may find the bathroom a little tight, but it has a full sized shower with great water pressure - yes, that really is a plus! The towels are high end hotel quality. We didn't cook at all, but our host was kind enough to leave us coffee and some delicious bread from VT to try for breakfast. We loved the place - homier and roomier than your average NYC hotel - with sheets and towels as soft and fancy!
The location is perfect, central LES, right off East Houston and walkable to the subway. Cabs are very easy to get if you walk to Ea. Houston or Essex, and easy to find off Rivington. Lots of great bars and restaurants within steps of the abode. We had a rental car and were actually able to find street parking without too much trouble - quite a rarity in NYC.
Our host was just a text away when we had a question and made our stay very easy. She really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one. We would definitely stay there again, if she will have have us!
- Wonderful host.
- Really nice and clean studio (by clean I mean spotless!)
- Nice and functional bathroom and kitchen.
- Very comfortable bed
- Perfect location. Many restaurants and bars closeby (yet the studio is really quiet). Subway station is about a 8min walk.
One of the best experience I had on airbnb so far out of many around the world. Caitlin was very flexible with our arrival and departure time. Although we didn't meet her, she would answer our text messages quickly and was always really pleasant. The studio is even nicer than in the picture. I am big on cleanliness and I must say that Caitlin's studio was up to my standard. The studio looked freshly renovated and is a perfect size for a couple. Kitchen and bathroom looked really nice and are perfectly functional. The windows are facing the back of the building where there are some trees. It was really quiet even at night. Location wise, we loved staying in lower east side. Authentic neighborhood with a lot of restaurants, bars and boutiques. Not a tourist in sight which was nice because we wanted and authentic experience. The neighborhood although lively at night felt safe.
Thanks Caitlin for a wonderful stay!
Caitlin apartment is comfortable and situated in a perfect area. The metro is just a few blocks away. Caitlin is available and communicative so the check in and check out was perfect. Thanks Caitlin!!!
Great experience. Beautiful studio apt and great location!
Is stayed at Caitlin's apartment for close to a week and it was the PERFECT place to stay in the East Village. The apartment is clean, comfortable and has the most heavenly bed!
The surrounding area is fantastic with loads of food choices and shops. Caitlin was a wonderful and kind host, very easy to book with, responded quickly to messages and very helpful.
This was my first visit to New York and this was the perfect place to stay to discover all that New York has to offer. I would highly recommend Caitlin's place.
Thankyou again Caitlin for a great stay.
excellent guest! She is welcome anytime.
Caitlin was a wonderful guest! She was respectful and kind and we enjoyed meeting her very much! We'd love to have her back!
Excellent guest. Very sweet and genuine, kept her things neatly, cleaned up after herself in the kitchen. good energy from this nice lady.
Caitlin is a great host, and goes to extreme measure to make sure all guests have a great experience in NYC. When Hurricane Sandy hit my apt. was left without electricity, heat and hot water. As a fellow Airbnb host, I had guests arriving from France for their first trip to NYC, and I was frantically looking for an alternative for them. Caitlin came to the rescue!
From the French visitors "We arrived just after Sandy hurricane and they have no electricty and hot water but during the evening they find us a place to stay at a friend (Caitleen, who is also on Airbnb and has a very cute appartment). Anyway, you can book with them without any hesitation!"
