We are a couple, working in photography and publishing. We sublet our place while we go on vacation.
Our 2nd time staying in this apartment. We had a great time again. This time my mum joined us, and the apartment fit the 3 of us comfortably. Although it hasn't been a cold Winter, we were warm. The stairs were a bit annoying with our bags, but you only go up them with your bags once at the beginning, so it's not much of an issue.
We really enjoyed staying in this apartment. It's a very comfortable two room apartment with kitchen, bathroom and shower. Benoit was a fantastic host, very easy to communicate with and answered all emails promptly and provided great information about the neighborhood and recommendations.
The metro station is across the street and getting anywhere in Paris was super easy (get a multi-day pass, it'll save a lot of time!). There is a parking garage half a block away - but be careful, they are closed on Sunday (right when we were trying to get our car out... very awkward!)
My partner and I really enjoyed our 10 night stay in the apartment. We definitely recommend this place and hope to return sometime soon.
The neighbourhood was very friendly and non-touristy, which was wonderful and a fabulous respite after visiting the tourist sites all day.
Having the bakery downstairs, as well as the wine shop and the subway directly across the road was wonderful, and a grocery store was also very close by.
Everything within the apartment was clean; the bed was comfortable; the shower had instant hot water and good pressure; and the coffee machine in the kitchen was a life saver in the morning!
The only downside to the apartment were the approx 97 stairs that you needed to conquer in order to reach the 5th floor, where the apartment is (there is no lift).
Unfortunately we never got to meet Benoit (we will hopefully one day, if we are lucky enough to stay in Paris again) but his friend Marion who lives in the same building was an amazing host (very helpful and friendly and even took us out for the day on a bicycle tour of the city).
Thank you for staying at my apartment! And Thanks for the nice goodbye-note on the table!!
You are welcome to stay any other time!
Benoit and his girlfriend were perfect guests and are welcome to visit us back Belgrade any time...
Benoît is my brother and he's a really nice guy : very easygoing, eager to communicate and to share with people. He's a high-skilled traveller who always finds great ways to enjoy his trip. His girlfriend Magali is as great, the kind of personn you really want to meet.
Their appartment is very neat and charming, I enjoy sleeping there even if I'm nearly his neighbour ! The sofa-bed is cumfy, and I really love the balcony with a beautiful city-view.
