I'm a 27 Chinese living in Shanghai since 2007 and know a lot about this city.
The reason I chose to stay here is not only that this city is full of energy and different cultures, but also this is perhaps the most open-minded city in China.
I like Japan culture since it's sort of like ancient China and really appreciate their attitude to work and details. But you may know that some Chinese are not friendly to this country due to history reasons.I believe that whenever you look at other cultures, you shouldn't have preconceived ideas. The best thing is to learn not to hate. I can hear a lot of different ideas and voices here than other places. And this is why I spent past 5 years here.
Since May of 2012, my job changed to writing some articles at home.I don't have enough time to go out often or hang out with my friends like before. But thanks a lot to Airbnb that helps me to find a new way to make friends with real people again and prevents me from melancholia! LOL! Till now I've met people from different countries and heard lots of interesting things. I feel like I'm travelling inside my house!
In my spare time, I'd like to read and cook. My father was a good cooker and I learned a bit from him. Also it indeed saves me a lot in monthly budget for food...hahaha! Of course 100% Chinese food! Just like many young people, my life will be dimmed without music and movie. I'd be really delighted if you pick up some of your favorite and share with me. =D
Ok. The last thing I have to introduce is the members who's been living with me since May 1st,2011, my three cats. They are adorable and friendly to new people. Hope you'd like to stay with them! The apartment is cleaned four times a week by a maid and keeping away from bad smell. You don't have to worry much about the cleanness and hope you can enjoy the stay in my apartment. :)
