Hello! I am a graduate student at CU Boulder. I love to read and adventure on my bike. I enjoy the outdoors and discovering new places.
Lovely little apartment! The whole process of renting was very straightforward, Xinema met us at the apartment&gave good local info. The flat itself is well equipped with tea/coffee&shower products. Great location for walking to Pearl st.
Ximena's space was so perfect for us during our stay in Boulder! Very cozy and inviting with all the elements and amenities we needed. Quiet neighborhood, close to everything, lots of wildlife! Probably not anything out of the ordinary for locals to see, but we got really excited when we saw a beautiful deer cross the street on our way into the neighborhood as well as a couple of raccoons :) Even though it was pretty warm (80 degrees) both days we were there, the apartment stayed very cool with the windows open and the fans going, and the perfect breeze kept us snoozing peacefully at night. Also the bed was super comfy. And I'm always a sucker for a bath in an old school claw foot bathtub! Such a great way to end a chill day in Boulder. We will hopefully be back!
Ximena was a great and very kind host. Her space was beautiful and clean. My parents stayed here while they were in town visiting and enjoyed it very much.
Response from Ximena:
Yes it did! No problems at all. Thanks for checking in :)
The reservation was canceled 40 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Ximena was a great host. She was flexible, accessible, and pleasure to work with. Her apartment was clean, in a safe and quiet community and walking distance to Pearl St. My girlfriend and I stayed there and we both felt safe walking back from Pearl late at night. It's big enough for two people who are comfortable sleeping in the same bed. Ximena's little artistic touches made the space feel like a home away from home.
The stay in Ximena's apartment was enjoyable because it was easy to to get/return keys and close to all of the things we wanted to do in Boulder!
Staying at Ximena's for two nights was an absolute pleasure! Her space is incredibly cozy and comfortable, with vintage touches and lots of plant life. I would definitely recommend!
Another great stay with Ximena. I recommend it.
Ximena was gracious and flexible. As other reviewers have indicated, her small apartment is sweet and European, loaded with interesting books and wonderful art. The clawfoot tub was a delightful treat at the end of the day.
Ximena's place is a wonderful little gem just a short walk from pearl street and the middle of happening downtown boulder and less than ten minutes away from the various Mt. Sanitas trailheads and a great little shopping area where a sommelier can give you advice on what wine to buy, you can get bread right out of the oven, and sample some of Boulder's delicious local food. The apartment is cozy and comfortable and super well-organized for such a small space. Ximena was a warm and helpful host, generous with things like grocery staples and toiletries, and willing to be flexible around departure and arrival times when we needed her to be. The one caveat: it's an old apartment with all the charm and quirks that brings, so if you're looking for a pristine, immaculate place with all the modern amenities, this won't please you. But if you're looking for interesting, comfortable, cozy and convenient - you'll love it. Hope to go back again soon!
i did not have the pleasure to meet ximena in person, because i was out of town myself.
but the communication was easy and the room was neat and clean, when we came back. i would host ximena anytime again.
Great guest, easy to communicate and very friendly:-)
Ximena and Erik were amazing guests, both very fun and friendly. Because they were already familiar with Chicago they hit the ground running but we enjoyed sharing our interests (and our shared love of Boulder). We would host them again anytime!
