Ciao sono Giorgio, gestisco un bed and breakfast nella splendida Firenze. In caso abbiate qualsiasi domanda, (website hidden) aspetto!
I had( Eva ) a great experience at Giorgio's B n B.
Very spacious room with good energy and aesthetic touches. I enjoyed the breakfast and the hot tub. There is a kitchen and a second bedroom but since no other guest was at the time I stayed I didn't had the chance to interact but I had it all for myself which was cool too. Giorgio and Francesca are great people; very friendly, approachable and willing to help with anything you might need. They are travelers themselves so they are pretty knowledgable of what you might need. The house is not in the historic center but I walked there day and night. Is a very enjoyable walk, it might take 20' to get there. I also used the trambia to go to the train station. Thank you Giorgio! Thanks Francesca! Ciao!
The house is a little far from the downtown but near the (website hidden)'s quite clean, artistic and new.i have to said it's beautiful and the owner is quite nice..but after I leave the owner told me I break something that I even don't know what's that at this moment,he didn't show me any proof and ask me pay for two days (website hidden) if living there better ask the owner check everything is fine after you leave.
Great stay. My family and I very much enjoyed the apartment. It was in a nice location, just a short walk into town, and the tram was very convenient. Thanks again.
We spent a wonderful day in Giorgio's house in Florence, with lovely environment and good facilities, as well as his pleasant company. He is polite and warm-hearted to us the whole time, and we believe he is the dream host for airbnb travellers. Thank you for hosting us, Giorgio!
Très bon accueil, l'emplacement est idéal. Parking gratuit autour du logement, restaurants, magasins, transport en tramway ou bus ...
Thanks a lot, hope to return one day
We can really recommend CasaOlivia due to the friendly hosts, the huge and clean room, the nice breakfast and the location itself. It's possible to sleep with an open window and you have a free parking zone right in front of the house. It's about a 10 minutes drive to the city center by tram (5 minute walk to the tram station).
Casa Olivia is very nice. Cool decoration, well air conditioned rooms with both sealing fan and air condition unit. They are clean. Retro design as seen in the photos. The neighbourhood is quiet, green and pleasant. There is a tram station about 5-10 minutes walk which takes you directly to town. There is a TV but its the smallest one you will ever see:) Unfortunately we were not greeted by Giorgio but his wife who does not speak a word of English. This resulted in a payment mixup and we almost payed twice for the room. I can not stress enough the importance of speaking English when running a B&B. It makes the whole experience that much better. The fridge in the kitchen was not working, or at least i could not make it work. No famous Giorgio cake for us, no home made breakfast as well. We were given a coupon for a breakfast in a local bar/store/bakery. It was not that nice. In the end i expected more. Still, if you are looking for a nice room in a quiet neighbourhood i recommend it ! maybe we had a bad patch, but outside of that- dont expect more.
Casa Olivia is located in a quiet neighborhood that we enjoyed returning to after a day of hot, crowded Florence sightseeing. We chose to stay there because we knew that we could walk--although it was a fairly long walk--to the city center, and we did so several times. On-street parking was free and widely available. The room itself was nicely decorated in a fun, kitschy style (the photos are very accurate); impeccably clean; and air-conditioned. Giorgio was kind enough to make vegan breakfasts for us, and they were delicious! My only regret is that we do not speak Italian and did not have a chance to converse more with Giorgio and his family.
A fun place to stay when in Florence!! Giorgio is a pleasure to meet and offers a great no fuss stay. His place is clean and while is a little from the centre of Florence (approx 30min walk), it is a quiet and nice neighbourhood. He even offers a breafast menu :)
