We will be presenting Minds Interrupted: Stories of Lives Affected by Mental Illness in Minneapolis on June 18.
Rosemary and colleague stayed for more than a week during their work trip. After welcoming them at the house Rosemary asked if the couch pulls out, the listing clearly states that it does not. I received a call with several demands of the two midweek. They decided to turn the air conditioning off as they would rather have fresh air, and then complained that I only had one fan in the house, staring that I really needed to supply more fans. They received an additional fan an hour later. They also requested addresses and directions to laundromats and printers which I emailed to them an hour later. My sheets have ink stains on them, in two different colors, furniture was rearranged, one decor item had fallen and was broken, and the pair used an extreme amount of towels during the stay. I am afraid the two expected a concierge experience. I do offer to answer questions on the area and supply a great deal of maps and free wifi, but their expectations were beyond the things that make most renters very satisfied. I would rather not rent again to this party.
