This house it has been my home during 5 years until I moved to London. People that have stayed before always have enjoyed of that feeling, the feeling of being at home. If you can feel like that i will be more than happy :))).

Diego's house is just great. Located at the heart of the old town of Vejer, is the most authentic way to stay in this beautiful town. Just within the old city walls, the house has charm, amazing views, and is in perfect conditions. Clean and cosy. Diego was a great host and everything went perfect! We had a great stay. Highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I stayed in Diego's house for a week in August and we loved every second. I could not recommend Vejer and the apartment more. Firstly, the town is brilliant. We did some exploring and it was by FAR the most picturesque of all the little towns along the costa de la luz. It makes a great base to do some exploring. It's slightly cooler as it's up on a hill so you get a nice breeze which was helpful in the boiling heat of mid-august. There are tonnes of good restaurants, tapas bars, and stunning views on every street across the valley. Secondly, Diego's house is in the Old Town so it's really convenient and unbelievably picturesque. It's a rustic little flat and really feels like a home. We were there during the 2 week summer festival when people come from all around the region to enjoy open air music, late night eating on the cobbled streets etc. We were a bit worried that it would be super noisy and crowded during these 2 weeks but it was great - really fun atmosphere (almost entirely Spanish people it seemed), we managed to eat somewhere new every night without ever waiting in a line, and, because of the location of the apartment, we could retreat to the peace of the old town where you couldn't hear anything. Best of both worlds! PLUS, it has the most amazing terrace which looks out across the town and towards the sea which we had breakfast on every morning after a trip to the market 5 mins walk away. Thirdly, Diego was really helpful, he told us the good beaches to visit, he was there when we needed him and not when we didn't. This was my first Air bnb experience and it was completely seamless. Diego also has another house which could be great for small groups as the 2 flats join together. Some tips if you're going to V de la F... hire a car (we flew to Jerez), although parking in the town was a bit of a challenge but I imagine that was becuase of all the extra people during the fiesta; get an umbrella/parasol for the beach to protect you from the wind/sun (you can buy them anywhere in the local towns); learn some basic spanish (hardly anyone speaks english, very few english menus etc. We really enjoyed this aspect, but it's not everyone's idea of a holiday... All in all it was a brilliant holiday. We really hope to come back one day!
Our 6-day stay over Christmas in Diego's apartment was an incredible experience as well as an excellent way to end our visit to Spain.
Vejer is beautiful, with a rich mix of history and culture, and was a great place to spend a week.
Diego's apartment is truly stunning (living up to expectations from the photos), as well as very comfortable and quiet. Diego's sister was there to welcome us, and everything was provided to make an enjoyable stay, including a "welcome basket" with food and coffee. The apartment is in a perfect location in the old part of Vejer, and sitting on the terrace, enjoying the view over the old city wall all the way to the mountains of Africa was a wonderful way to begin and end each day.
Diego was extremely helpful in his email interactions from where he works in London. We were also lucky enough to meet him before we left when he came home to visit his family for Christmas. We hope to be able to return in the future.
