Welcome to New Orleans!
Greg was an absolute pleasure. He was both extremely welcoming and accommodating. As far as the suite goes, it was exactly as described and more. Very charming and you can tell how much work has been put into it. The neighborhood was also great! It was nice to be able to stay in a real New Orleans neighborhood outside of the French Quarter and other busier areas but still be within a very short walking distance from them. I would definitely recommend it staying here!
Staying at Greg's suite was perfect for my two night stay. It was an easy walk to get to Frenchmen Street or the French Quarter. The space was cozy, very comfortable bed. He had the perfect set up with a little french press and some extra glasses - all I needed with so much great food near by.
Greg was very responsive with any questions. I stayed alone and felt safe walking around the neighborhood day or night. Didn't have any issues with noise, but I wasn't returning until relatively late at night.
All in all a great stay - thanks Greg!
Great location and accommodation. Walking distance to Bourbon and Frenchman Street but still restful sleep. Would recommend and stay again
This room was just as cool looking as the pictures. Greg was very nice and available if I had any questions. I stayed on my own and walked everywhere day and night, didn't feel unsafe at all. Its really close to Armstrong Park, where they have "jazz in the park" it is free and fun. I only stayed one night , I would stay here again.
Greg was a great host, immediate contact and response through text and app, though we never met as it was only a one night stay. As an out of towner thought the area was close enough to bourbon to be more touristy, but it is the Treme, so I'd advise a little reading on it first. But greg left some welcoming drinks/coffee etc so he was gracious host. Average rating due to neighborhood and amount of noise from neighbors and that the house didn't seal up completely to block it out
Greg was very nice and talked with my girlfriends and I about places to go when he dropped off more linens. He was easy to get a hold of before and during the trip. There was a mix up with a house keeper and our early check-in, but Greg corrected it right away. The place was easy to find and right outside the French Quarter as well as close to Frenchmen Street. Many other reviewers said that the area felt safe during the day, but to take cabs back at night. My girlfriends and I walked back from the French Quarter every night we were there (Fri-Tues), and were perfectly safe. The neighbors were very friendly and no one bothered us at night when we were walking. That being said, as with any unfamiliar place, you should always be alert and aware of your surroundings. Greg is not misleading when he states that you can hear the neighbors walking around or playing music. It didn't bother us much, but none of us were very light sleepers and we were only really around the apartment late at night. We would definitely recommended this apartment!
Greg was very responsive and the house was in the perfect location! The house had a TON of charm and character which really made it a true New Orleans experience for us. The only thing was that it was listed as a 2 bedroom and there was only 1, but it didn't really matter because it was just my husband and I anyways!
Great experience, seamless process and great location. Thanks!!!
Everything was great. He was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns I had, in a very timely manner. The place was spotless and very comfortable. Parking was also very easy.
Greg's apartment was great - so unique and charming. Greg couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. We didn't want to leave , and can't wait to come back and hopefully stay with Greg again. Funky, fun and friendly!
