Wow. My first negative from the most worthless, barely reachable or even functionally familiar property manager I've ever patiently put up with. And to think that *I* was polite about how worthless he was at making the process not a complete pain/nightmare to deal with, and he winds up complaining that I had to contact him at ALL to clarify the things he failed to organize.
So, for those who wish to skip the funny but in-depth description of the nightmare of dealing this incompetent man-child...
HERE'S A SUMMARY OF THE TRUTH IN CALL CAPS:
-NO MESS, JUST UNMADE BED. LEFT 1 NIGHT EARLY, NEVER ATE OR SPENT TIME THERE OTHER THAN SLEEP. ONLY 2 NIGHTs SPENT AND 2 MORNINGS.
-DOUBLE CLEANING FEE ( A MISTAKE DUE TO BOOKING INEPTITUDE) FOR ONLY 2 NIGHT OUT OF 3 (WE LEFT EARLY AND GOT IN LATE, PAST 8PM). NO COMPLAINT FROM US OR DEMAND FOR ANYTHING.
-CHECK IN PROCESS WAS NOT IN RESERVATION DETAILS AND THE PHYSICAL BOOK WAS OUTDATED AND EXPLAINED INCORRECTLY HOW TO RE-ENTER THE UNIT. HE HIMSELF AVOIDED SPEAKING AT ALL ABOUT IT.
THIS ON NIGHT ONE, LEFT US OUT IN EARLY JAN COLD FOR OVER HALF AN HOUR AS HE NEGLECTED HIS PHONE AS A RESULT.
-HEATING WAS BROKEN DURING FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. WE DID NOT COMPLAIN AT ALL, BUT IT WAS VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.
-NO COMPLAINTS WERE MADE.. HIS INEPTITUDE AND ATTITUDE WAS PUT UP WITH, EVEN DURING EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE SCENARIOS.
... after all of that, met with kindness and no ill will on my part... he has the gall to complain about his having to fix problems that *HE* caused and then rate *ME* poorly for having to navigate his mess and yet request that he bother explaining what he couldn't organize and handle one, simple situation? While even his heater was busted during winter and I didn't complain?! He still calls *ME* a pain like *HE* was the victim?
Wow. That is just plain insane. That's some brilliant moral equivalency right there, Scotty. You have to reach a special level of selfish irreverence to your impact on others and an unparalleled propensity for childish petulance.... to be able to cause that much aggravation for someone else and still label yourself the "victim" for having to fix your own mess.
And most hyprocritical of all.. is for you to call me a "nice guy" before saying false things about me. Scott didn't even come by once for the sake of meeting me or handling any aspect of the parking fiasco before the check-in... and yet has the gall to preface the negative review by starting it with "Saad's a nice guy"... to make it seem like he bothered even meeting me or talking on the phone for longer than 40 seconds before hanging up each time.
I was still polite regardless of how insanely frustrating dealing with his disorganization could be..... so maybe that's what he means by "nice guy", He means that I'm able to put up with his complete failures and frustrating mismanagement without complaint or tension. I was "nice" for putting up with him... but "not a good tenant" because he wishes his air-bnb spot would just manage itself and give him money without having to lift a finger or plan well. Poor guy.
Oh, and... the fish were starving when we got there. Like... ready to bite our hands off... clustering into the corner of the tank, and nearly jumping out... starving. We still made time to feed them twice a day.
It's a great thing that my other reviews, most written by far more encumbered managers than this spoiled little ingrate... are all glowing and speak for themselves.
My shorter response to you, Scott, in two words: GROW UP.
