I'm a scientist, travelling rather often, and I rent my own flat in Central Paris now and then....

We had a wonderful stay at Edith's place. It's quintessential Paris - in an authentic old building. The apartment is very homely and has everything that we needed for our stay. The location is also brilliant with bakeries and restaurants nearby. It was an easy stroll to Montmartre down the hill, and a harder climb to the Sacre Coeur nearby. Edith is easy to communicate with, readily available and helpful in finding a carpark for us nearby. Would definitely recommend it.
It was my first time in Paris as well as my husband's and my Honeymoon, and we were excited about discovering the city's many beautiful sights! We wanted to get a real feel for Parisian life, so we opted to find and stay in an apartment. Because my brother lives in Paris, we had been forewarned that apartments in the city are generally on the smaller side. Additionally, we had also anticipated that city life can be a bit noisy at times, so when we showed up to Edith's apartment we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious size of the apartment as well as the quiet neighborhood. The complex was very well kept, safe, and had a lift! Due to it's location on the 6th floor (top floor of the complex), the apartment offered a beautiful view of the city, as well as the extra added perk of no neighbors above! A generous amount of windows created a nice cross breeze throughout the apartment as well as ample amounts of natural light. The bathroom alone was a score seeing as how it was both big and was equipped with a shower head that could be adjusted to a desired height; this alone was a fantastic discovery, considering that most European showers, to the untrained American (me included) can cause a challenge! The neighborhood surrounding the apartment offered a fantastic bakery (where my husband and I would buy our daily baguettes), a grocery store, a wine market, several quaint restaurants and bars, and additionally the metro was only a couple short blocks away.
Edith's apartment offers the perfect balance of Parisian life with a generous dose of extra added perks that will make anyone's stay in Paris memorable and comfortable. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to France!!
I think it worked very well. We were 4 of us. It is a very nice, cosy appartment, well located in the city. It did not smell any smoke when we stayed here. In total we were happy with everything.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute apartmant on the 6th floor. It was beautifully decorated with a personal touch and felt like a home away from home. Located close to Pigalle and Montmarte with great shopping cafes and restaurants to chose from. Ideal for sharing. I would definitely recommend it.
Edith's has a beautiful apartment with a wonderful view of Paris from the windows. It is bright and airy, very comfortable, with lovely furnishings and everything you could need. Edith left very good instructions for the use of the apartment and was very helpful before and whilst we were there.
Perfect place, easy communication with Edith, great and perfect location.. What a better place in Paris?
Cozy flat, with good facilities, in a very convenient location, on the route of bus and metro lines. It is at a walking distance (ca 25 mins) to the Louvre area, and 30 min walk from the flea market (Les Puces) in the north of Paris.
If you are a non smokers the smell of smoke might bother you (It did not bother me but it did my family). Also you need to climb many stairs so need to have no disabilities preventing that. A wheel chair would not fit in the lift.
The flat is in a great area for small cafes boulangeries and restaurants and is near a supermarket.
The free availability of a mac computer is an added bonus so we were able to make good use of the web for last minute decisions on trips and itineraries.
Also very helpful and responsive owner.
We (2 adults and a child) had a very good time.
Lovely, spacious and peaceful apartment with everything you could need. Excellent location - 12 minutes walk to Gare du Nord and round the corner from the great food and wine shops on Rue des Martyrs. I met Edith on my final day and she came across as a very generous and trustworthy person who is happy for you to stay, in amongst her things. All the appliances, both in the kitchen and the bathroom were first rate and the wifi worked well. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly if you want to visit Paris and not be shackled to a hotel but experience normal, every day life as a Parisien in true comfort.
Charmante locataire, je suis déçue de ne pas avoir pu la rencontrer. Vous êtes la bienvenue dès que vous le souhaitez. À bientôt !
Response from Edith:
J'ai beaucoup appréciée d'être Guest chez Léa à Toulouse, since so far I was only Host in my parisian flat...
