We had a very lovely time at JayBe's studio! It was very cute, comfy and clean and a welcome oasis after a day in Joshua Tree. The studio is located very near to the Joshua Tree Visitor Center (about 0.9 miles) and is also very close to the park entrance. This studio flat is also pet friendly which was really great for us. There is a shelf with books about the local attractions and wildlife, info on the park and trails, plus a kitchen with nearly everything you could need. We loved our stay so much we are already trying to figure out when we can return and we hope to stay here again. Thank you Jaybe!!
Although Jaybe was out of town during my stay, he was an excellent host, very thoughtfully leaving a bottle of sparkling cider and a happy birthday note for my arrival. A nearby friend was available for anything I needed and, while I never needed to reach out she even came by to introduce herself while being sure she wasn't intruding. When weather caused me to arrive late, they both made sure I was able to get in safely without any trouble at all. The studio is a charmingly rustic little spot and the perfect base from which to enjoy all that Joshua Tree has to offer and I highly recommend it.
Just spent 2 nights at JayBes lovely guest studio and had a brilliant time! Perfect location to explore Joshua Tree NP and relax back at the studio, under the stars in the evening whilst BBQing in the amazing garden. Although we didn't get to meet JayBe in person, he made sure that we were comfortable during our stay and his lovely friend Claire was on call if there was anything we needed. Thanks again JayBe :)
Great place! Quiet secluded little get away spot. Felt like a beach house bungalow. We really liked the way the guest house was built too. A lot of really smart use of refurbished materials. I want to go back!!!!
The setting is great, a real desert experience.
We had such a lovely time staying at Jaybe's studio, it felt like home. The location is perfect, bed comfortable, very clean, he provides everything you need for your stay and extra, and I loved sitting out the front watching the hummingbirds! Because of all this we ended up staying another night!
Can't recommend it enough.
An escape to JT and a stay at JayBe's guest studio was perfect for us! The location is great and close to the park's west entrance. Took in much good hiking in the park with mild temps, amazing desert flowers and a home with starry skies to return to every night! Our last morning we visited the amazing Coyote Canyon right next door, what a magical place! Thank you!
This was my first trip to Joshua Tree and JayBe helped make it a most memorable experience.
JayBe is extremely friendly and easy-going, consistent with the chill vibe of JT. He was most welcoming and laid-back.
The Guest Studio was perfect JT rustic, desert charm. No frills, but totally relaxing and perfectly located. Hiking trail directly across the street!
The pictures on the site don't really do the space justice. While it isn't fancy, the studio has great charm and character.
My sister and I stayed during the week at this nice studio; Everything was nice, fresh and as described. The location was great, close to some tasty restaurants and just one turn onto the main street that leads to the west entrance of Joshua Tree Park. We walked down to the visitor center the first night so we could plan out or day in JTP. With the wifi we were able to unwind at night with Netflix and make popcorn and coco in the kitchenette. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast on our final day so we could pack up at our leasure. The patio area was super cute and we could have BBQed and had a fire which would have been great for s'mores but we didn't take advantage of it. There is a hammock that we could have taken a nap in but we were on the go. The bathroom wa really great and spacious with all the amenities provided which made it very convienient. I would definitely recommend this studio to others looking to stay in the area. Thanks again JayBe!
JayBe's studio was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for while hiking for a couple days in Joshua Tree. The location really could not get any better right along the park line. The bed was super cozy. JayBe has lots of information on surrounding areas. One night we went to Pappy & Harriets for dinner and sang open mic. Will definitely be returning someday! Such a fun trip! Thank you, Jaybe!
