An escape to JT and a stay at JayBe's guest studio was perfect for us! The location is great and close to the park's west entrance. Took in much good hiking in the park with mild temps, amazing desert flowers and a home with starry skies to return to every night! Our last morning we visited the amazing Coyote Canyon right next door, what a magical place! Thank you!
This was my first trip to Joshua Tree and JayBe helped make it a most memorable experience.
JayBe is extremely friendly and easy-going, consistent with the chill vibe of JT. He was most welcoming and laid-back.
The Guest Studio was perfect JT rustic, desert charm. No frills, but totally relaxing and perfectly located. Hiking trail directly across the street!
The pictures on the site don't really do the space justice. While it isn't fancy, the studio has great charm and character.
My sister and I stayed during the week at this nice studio; Everything was nice, fresh and as described. The location was great, close to some tasty restaurants and just one turn onto the main street that leads to the west entrance of Joshua Tree Park. We walked down to the visitor center the first night so we could plan out or day in JTP. With the wifi we were able to unwind at night with Netflix and make popcorn and coco in the kitchenette. The kitchenette had everything we needed to make breakfast on our final day so we could pack up at our leasure. The patio area was super cute and we could have BBQed and had a fire which would have been great for s'mores but we didn't take advantage of it. There is a hammock that we could have taken a nap in but we were on the go. The bathroom wa really great and spacious with all the amenities provided which made it very convienient. I would definitely recommend this studio to others looking to stay in the area. Thanks again JayBe!
JayBe's studio was exactly what my boyfriend and I were looking for while hiking for a couple days in Joshua Tree. The location really could not get any better right along the park line. The bed was super cozy. JayBe has lots of information on surrounding areas. One night we went to Pappy & Harriets for dinner and sang open mic. Will definitely be returning someday! Such a fun trip! Thank you, Jaybe!
My husband and I loved staying at the Joshua Tree guest studio. We didn't end up meeting JayBe in person but we talked over the phone and he made sure we were all set with everything. The best part about this listing is the location! It is perfect for visiting Joshua Tree National Park with one of the visitor's centers right down the road and the park basically in your backyard. There are restaurants and stores close by to stock up on any items you might need. The studio is simple, clean and true to the description - perfect for a getaway to the desert. The small kitchen is just what we needed for making lunches to bring into the park. We had a wonderful time during our stay and will not hesitate to rebook if and when we return.
We had an excellent experience at JayBe's place again. We have been here the year before. The location of his guest studio is convenient to the Joshua Tree park entrance and very close to town.
We would definitely stay there again :)
We loved our stay in the guest house! It was so close to the park and so close to downtown Joshua Tree. Thank you!!
Never met the host.
Place was charming, comfortable and well stocked. Nice outdoor seating, also.
We loved staying here, beds are remarkably comfortable and the kitchen has everything a traveller would need. The bathroom tile is outstanding and we rested in the comfortable hammock in the yard. The garden landscape was my favorite part. There was a dove nesting by the house in the yard, and coyotes yipping in the distant mountains that we were facing. Lovely place, everyone should experience!
I loved the location and the privacy of the Joshua Tree Guest Studio, we were so close to the park and felt like we had our own amazing little apartment. JayBe totally left the place to us and there was no need for additional interaction after we arrived. Great spot for a couple to hangout and unwind after a long day of hiking in the park. JayBe also stocks the place with excellent reading material about the area, restaurant recommendations, and good books.
