We loved this place. It is small, but well equipped, and close to the park. The outside areas are very nice and we liked being at the edge of town.
We loved our stay @ this little studio. It was clean , comfortable and close to town. It had a spacious shower too! Just what we needed after camping several days in the desert.
We could not have been happier and felt more welcome at JayBe's little studio apartment. Every detail is well-thought out from the bbq, hammock and wood burning stove in the private, walled patio to the pots and pans in the little kitchen. We cooked up some amazing meals and ate them while we played games from the closet. Check-in was a breeze, and even though JayBe was out of town during our visit, he called and left us contact info for a local friend who could help if we needed, which we never did. The trail across the street to the petroglyphs was really special, and getting to the West and North entrances of the Park were both pretty quick drives. In short, we had an amazing time, the studio is an incredible value for the price with privacy and all the amenities we needed and prefer, that is to say not fancy, but well-loved! Thank you JayBe for a fantastic time!
This is a wonderful studio apartment (essentially) in a wonderful location. It was comfortable, well stocked with food and information about Joshua Tree (both the town and the park) and it is in a wonderful location. The people managing were very pleasant and helpful though we had no reason to contact them once we had arrived and had been shown the apartment. I hope we'll be able to go back again some time!
Had a great time in Joshua Tree. JayBe's place is secluded and nice. JayBe gave us a very good tip on where to eat (Crossroads). Natural Sisters cafe and the organic supermarket was also a nice surprise for great organic food.
We had an absolutely magical stay in JayBe's cozy Joshua Tree studio. After long days of hiking and climbing in the park it was great to come back to the perfectly equipped studio to cook and relax. The location is also very ideal, sitting right in between both the park and the town. Thank you JayBe, we can't wait to come back!
Jaybe's place is awesome! My husband and I had such a wonderful time. His cabin is clean and cozy. The bed is comfortable and the shower is great! Wifi is surprisingly fast. Even though the kitchen is simple, we found everything we needed to make most of our meals in the cabin. It is a great location, close to the park and also near the Main Street. We will definitely stay at this place again! Thanks Jaybe and Jet for being such great hosts!
We felt at home from the minute we arrived at this quiet desert retreat. Thanks so much for sharing.
Jaybe welcomed me on arrival and was very friendly.
The place looks out to the J tree rocks and sees stunning sunsets.
I went there to get away and have some space and it was perfect. It was private and quiet.
Highly recommend it.
JayBe's place is a fantastic sanctuary from the noise of the world. The location is ideal - a 5 min drive into the park. The studio has everything you need for a relaxing, inspiring, and fun weekend. I truly appreciated his attention to detail - he had a bulletin board of maps and helpful information so you could get the most out of your time in Joshua Tree. The bookshelf was my favorite part - full of great reads and gems. The place was clean, easy to find things, and a great place to come home to after a day in the park.
