I spend most of my time getting lost in Paris on my Velib (free bikes here). When I'm not asking people for directions, I produce short documentaries, teach English to executives at La Défense, and write tons (screenplays and play, mostly). I also take tons of photos with an old '70s medium-format camera that is an ideal conversation starter almost anywhere. And I also spend a lot of time eavesdropping, in an effort to improve my French.
Recent movies I've seen: "La Separation," "Le gamin à vélo," "Minuit à Paris," and online, "Daniel Ellsberg: The Most Dangerous Man in America." Currently reading "Madame Bovary" and "Motherless Brooklyn," by Jonathan Lethem. Currently listening to Carmen McCrae and Grizzly Bear a lot.
