I can not recommend this room enough! If you want to experience the REAL New York, this is the place. If you want a warm welcome & very friendly host, this is the place. If you want a comfortable, CLEAN room, this is the place. And if you want an easy accessible place to stay within easy reach of Manhattan (the L train is 2 min away & is in Union SQ in 20min!), then I think you get where i'm going with this....
This was my first experience of using Airbnb and I cannot believe my luck, the neighbourhood is vibrant and full of culture, lovely cafes and people. If you want to be part of the Bushwick (the new Williamsburg) movement, even for just 1 day..BOOK IT!

Such a nice stay at Tasha's ! This is one large, clean and comfortable flat. The room is very spacious and sunny, with a private bathroom ! Tasha and Juila are the roomates you want to have. They are very communicative and not intrusive at the same time. They just make you feel simply home. This is a place where you can have interesting chats and cooking time in the evening... and those two are great cookers.
Plus Dekalb Avenue L train is one block away and takes you within 20 minutes to Union Square, or within 12 to Bedford Avenue.
Thanks again for everything Tasha !!

Tasha was a lovely, welcoming host. Her apt is very close to the L train and a convenient ride into Manhattan. We found the neighbourhood quite safe and rather lively, with tasty eateries everywhere, bargain shopping and Spanish music floating down the streets. It is a little noisy and the curtains in her bedroom are sheer so for light sleepers, bringing ear plugs and a sleep mask would be recommended. We were also quite warm on a couple of nights but Tasha informed us that she would be picking up a fan for the room shortly. For cat lovers, the apartment has two lovely animals that add to the already homey feel of the place. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for an affordable spot in Brooklyn.
