I loved staying at Vince's apt so much! I didn't want to leave. It's a perfect, beautiful little apt in one of the coolest old Hollywood buildings in LA. Well located near Franklin Village; there are cute cafés, with good food, coffee and fresh juice across the street. There is also a supermarket in walking distance. As a New Yorker, I really appreciate being able to easily walk to a couple of places. Temperpedic Bed and HBO to go, plus a totally sweet and accommodating host - who let me check out a little later just because he could. I Highly recommend this place! Just don't book it for next January when I want to visit LA again. :)
A truly incredible Hollywood hideaway. Vince's place couldn't have been any more perfect. We were there for a week and would have loved to have stayed forever. The building has amazing architecture with the classic old school
Hollywood feel. Vince's apartment has a spacious layout benefitting from double high vaulted ceilings and great decor. This man truly has an eye for interior design and you get a real feel of his style. Gave me some inspiration for my own place!
The record player, communal garden courtyard, and piano in the foyer were used on a daily basis. Vince even has a memory foam mattress that I almost tried to smuggle away in my suitcase because I was blessed with some of the best night's sleep ever.
Cannot speak highly enough of Vince as a host or his apartment. We will definitely be returning next time we make it to LA. Parking can be a bit tricky but that's how it is all over LA.
Oh, and be sure to grab a coffee from Oaks Gourmet on the corner (it's the best cup of coffee in the city!)
Absolutely loved everything about my stay in Vince's place. Very Charming and homey feeling apartment with Gorgeous courtyard. Great location . Historical building with a lot of character . The roof top was great . Stunning views . I would highly recommend it !!! Vince, cheers for being a great host !
Very cool building and apt. I would recommend this to anyone plus Vince is great.
We had an amazing time at Vince's place, the building is really beautiful, full of charm, the apartment is as on the pictures, gorgeous. The location is perfect, lots of restaurants around and a grocery store. We would definitely reccomand Vince's place.
Vince was always very easy to contact and available. A very nice Airbnb experience ! Thanks Vince !
Vince is a fantastic host. Very communicative, friendly and cooperative. He graciously accommodated my late check-in. The apartment is charming and in an excellent location. Would stay with again.
We had a wonderful stay at Vince's beautiful and historic apartment in the very quaint neighborhood of Hollywood hills. The high ceilings, old detailed charm, ridiculously comfortable bed, and sound of a running pond when the French doors are opened to the courtyard make it a truly unique and exceptional experience. And let me not forget Vince's great extensive music collection. Nothing was better than waking up with Bob Dylan on vinyl :) If you are lucky enough to stay here, be sure to eat lunch at Franklin and Co. down the block. Truffle fries are out of this world and great drinks as well. Overall, we highly recommend Vince and his apartment.
Great place, fantastic location, and a super helpful host. Thanks so much, Vince!
I will stay at Vince's place next time i'm in LA for sure, it was perfect!
The historic building is very inspiring, I really felt like I was living my fantasy of being a female lead in a vintage woody allen film. The piano in the foyer is usually occupied by some amazing talent which really added to the overall ambience.
The neighborhood is ideal, juice bar, magazine stand great coffee, grocery market & beautiful people everywhere.
Vince was the perfect host, he made me feel so welcome and comfortable. Such a great experience!
This house is pretty epic - an amazing historic building filled with a lot of interesting characters.
Vince was an awesome host, from the gift basket on arrival to the quick text responses to our questions during the stay, the whole process was super smooth and uneventful. Such a great alternative to a hotel.
As well as the house's stunning historic character other cool features of the house were the massive walk-in closet, a well stocked liquor cabinet and a Super that breaks out into show tunes every 3 or 4th sentence.
Check out Oaks Gourmet Market for great coffee, wine and pizza,..and a lot of the bars along the way have great late night happy hour specials.
Sometimes it is a little tricky with parking if you have a car, but that is to be expected anywhere in LA anyway.
Thanks Vince. Hope to be back again soon.
