I´m a passion woman who loves to travel and discover the world. I´ve found this beautiful place hidden in the Costa Rican jungle by the ocean and we made it a perfect place for relaxing while learning from the nature.

We spent two weeks in this nice house and that was really unforgettable.
You live near to the rain forest with the advantage of being close to the nature.
The house is beautiful, and Isabelle was always in touch to know if all was good. Thank you!
Our long drive from Quepos was worth it just to experience this gem of a house. Built by a prize-winning house builder from salvaged jungle woods, this house is full of special artistic and architectural details: all windows and doors swing out to seamlessly blend indoors with outdoors, open-space sight lines both horizontally and vertically, a gorgeous semi-outdoors jacuzzi). This house was perfect for hanging out and listening to the sounds of the jungle that is situated right across the house. We shared a meal with Peter, the owner and builder - a more lovely guy you couldn't meet. Although we didn't meet Isabelle, her artistic hand was evident throughout this incredible house. We will be back!
Paradise. Isabel and Peter are excellent hosts who have thought of everything. The house is beautiful - the hammock on the porch is worth the trip alone. Close enough to the most amazing beaches in the world without the crowds of tourists. I can't recommend the house or the hosts highly enough. We never wanted to leave.
Hi Michael, We are so glad that you spend a nice time in Manzanillo and enjoyed the house.
Thaks for staying in our house and you are welcome to come again whenever you want.
Our family had a really great time here! The boys (teenagers) loved to poke around the edges of the jungle and the yard in search of wildlife. Lizards, geckos, crabs and birds were everywhere!
Peter was a fantastic host and was eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The highlight of our trip was Peter's tour of the jungle & treehouse. (Extra charge, but worth every penny!) If you are extra adventurous, spend a night up there!
Dear Isabel and Peter,
Thanks so much for having us at your beautiful place. Even we stayed just for 4 nights we felt like home from the first moment on. The house with its unique design, interior and little things to discover is absolutely amazing. We loved to sit on the terrace, lying in the jacuzzi in the evening or cooking dinner at the perfect kitchen. At all time it was amazing to listen to the birds and monkeys while spending the time in or arround the house. It was so much fun to go with your bikes to the beach or just driving arround in beautiful Manzanillo. We even want to say "Thank you" to Bello who took care of us and the house and our things while staying at the beach. Furthermore we want to thank you both for the perfect communication before the arrival at Manzanillo and the great assistance and informations during our stay.....and, of course, taking us to the breathtaking Manzanillo Observatorio. Hiking through the jungle, climbing up the tree and staying at the tree house was an unforgettable experience for us. We wish you all the best for the development of your project and making our planet a bit more liveable.
All the best from Germany,
Christian & Eva
To all others: You can`t compare this place with other touristic and impersonal rooms or cabinas. It is absolutely amazing and very individual. If you`re looking for a spacious, clean and comfortable place with a safe and breathtaking surrounding....you have found it. Isabelles Garden is highly recommended. We would love to come back again.
My boyfriend and I stayed for 8 nights in the Isabelle Garden Home and were very happy with it. The house is lovely and is surrounded by beautiful greenery. It was a little more open than we were expecting, be prepared to live in harmony (mostly) with ants and bugs. There was also no air conditioning, which was OK while we were there (November) because the nights were cooler. Everything you need is included in the house (kitchen appliances, bikes, boogie board, beach towels, ect). We enjoyed relaxing in the house while it rained or to avoid the mid-day sun. Peter and Isabelle's (the hosts) dog's accompanied us on hikes and would watch our things while we swam in the ocean - it was so much fun!
Manzanillo is a friendly town, the beaches are beautiful and it was very quiet while we were there (almost no other tourists). Please note that it is very small and the resources are limited, the store has the very basics, but we had to go to Puerto Viejo to stock up on food. We did not have a car, which was doable, however, renting a car would allow you to get back and forth to Puerto Viejo a little easier and give you more flexibility. The public bus does come four or five times a day.
Overall, it was a fantastic vacation. A little more remote and in-touch with nature than we were expecting, but if that is what you are looking for it is amazing.
