I founded Vittana, a global non-profit dedicated to ending youth poverty through education. We create and scale education micro-loan programs around the world, combining microfinance's massive reach with education's transformative power.
Why? Because a girl selling tamales can become a teacher, tripling her income and breaking the cycle of poverty. With five billion people living on less than $10 a day and global population accelerating, we believe education is the only tool that will solve global issues at the root cause.
Today, we work in 12 countries and help 1,000+ youth escape poverty every month. Vittana's award-winning impact has been highlighted in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Huffington Post and many others.
