Bryan (left) and Gian Paolo (right) here--how's it going?
We live in a cosy semi-detached house in East London. We're both fun, easygoing, vivacious guys with a passion for travelling, so we understand the need for that "perfect place to stay." We've been living in London for 2 years already, after travelling for three months throughout Eastern Europe, and we love to meet new people from all around the world.
Here is a bit more about us:
Me: I'm an American expat living in London. I’m a writer—to pay the bills, I do advertising copywriting for a variety of companies, but in my spare time I travel blog ((website hidden)) and currently working my own book, a humorous collection of essays and short stories about life and the people that make it so fun. Much of my material comes from my other hobby as a comedian--making people laugh is a pastime, and I can often be found striking out in a variety of comedy shows, from improv to stand-up. I love running, yoga, meditation, and studying languages (currently Italian).
Gian Paolo: He’s a jack of all trades. He loves photography, opting for analog cameras(no digital!) and Lomography, and one day his photos will change the world. He is a wizard in the kitchen, and lives to learn new and exciting ethnic recipes, so prepare for a few amazing home-cooked meals during your stay! He too is a lover of languages, currently studying Romanian, and counts rock climbing and collecting vintage clothing as hobbies.
We've recommended Airbnb to dozens of friends, so now that we have a place of our own, we can't wait to host! We are both avid CouchSurfers, having surfed and hosted all around the world.
As easygoing as we are, we take hosting very seriously and make it a point to provide our guests with whatever they need to be comfortable. Whether that means some alone time in peace and quiet or a full list of places to go and the best ways to get there, we are happy to oblige! We respect the individuality of our guests, and it's our personal policy to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Even though our guest room affords plenty of space and privacy, we open up our entire home to our visitors. Our goal is to make you welcome.
Between the both of us, we speak English, Italian, Spanish and French (and a touch of Romanian).
