Maria and her family are a really good host. They helped us when ever we had some questions and gave us really good local recommendations.
The Appartement is cute, with lots of good books and some good arts. It was very proper and we got everything that we needed.
The place and the village is quiet and not touristy at all. The apartment is really good situated, and you can find everything around by foot: bars, restaurants, bakery, trainstation, market, etc.
If i will going to Mallorca once again i will stay at Maria's place again, for sure.
Maria was very accomodating and really lives up to the expectations of what a good host should be like. Her and her lovely family were happy to assist us with recommendations and problem solving whenever we needed it. They live on the same compound on the other side of the yard and were always happy to help but never intrusive.
They neighbourhood is safe, clean and calm and of course very lovely as the house itself is, too. It is an architectural gem of interior design and a good location to explore the islands centre, beautiful north and to go to Palma (20mins by car).
On market day Maria even brought us fresh enseimadas - delicious! There was also coffee, tea and some basic herbs and oils / vinegars in the apartment - very handy!
We can fully recommend the apartment and also staying in Binissalem, if you are by car.
It was very nice to be in Benissalem and at Maria's place. Benissalem is an old town, quiet, small but still enough to do to stay there for a week (restaurants, bike shop, banks, supermarkets, etc). The house of Maria was very beautiful. It is a small house with a room and a kitchen at the ground floor and a bedroom with bath room on the first floor. IThere is space to sit outside and you have a lovely view on the first floor on an old tower. The garden is also good to park your bikes. Speaking of biking: there is a bikeshop in Benissalem where you can rent bikes (Ciclos Gomila). Benissalem is in the middle of Mallorca so you can bike in every direction. If you want to go further you can catch the train (bikes allowed on almost every train). And if you not cycle you can use the train to go to Palma or to Sineu.
Maria is a good host for their guest. She really makes you (email hidden) you advice, is friendly and generous.
I was there together with a friend and we both recommend this house to other guests. It is a perfect place!
We truly enjoyed our stay at Maria's. The stand-alone house is well constructed, equipped and decorated, with a nice view of the lovely garden. The washer and drier were much appreciated. Maria is a warm and friendly host. We would recommend their house without hesitation!
Maria and her family are very warm-hearted, welcoming, and friendly people that made me really feel at home at their place.
The apartment had everything I needed, and the location in 3 minute walking distance from the train station was very convenient.
The small town of Binissalem is very nice and picturesque. The location makes it possible to go to the Serra de Tramuntana to the North as well as the flatlands to the South, depending on what you feel like.
You are away from the busy tourist centers of Palma, but it's easy and cheap to go there by train if you want.
Maria and her family are perfect hosts - friendly, warm, welcoming and unfailingly helpful! The 'tiny, independent house' is exactly as described and more - a very comfortable, yet individual place to stay, in a beautiful Mallorcan village...so much better than staying in the usual tourist places. Binissalem is close to the main road which gives easy access to all parts of this beautiful island and the very efficient (and cheap) electric railway is only a couple of minutes walk from the house. This takes you conveniently to Palma, a lovely city which is well worth a visit.
....A really special place!!
We are SO happy to have stayed with Maria and her family! The house is at a great location, easy to find parking for car, close to train, easy accsess to roads if you want to discover the Island by car. Very Mallorcan. Nice outdoor patio. Maria is very easy going and made us feel very welcomed! She is a warm hearted person and always at your service!! there is also a little beautiful dog that we could take for walks in the village :) We warmly recomend Marias place for you!
