Very disappointed to see dishonest guests leaving these comments. Based on the reviews I've read on Marc and Fay's profile I only accepted their reservation request under the assumption they were just like other nice guests I've had but I guess there are always outliers in this system.
Truth is Marc and Fay could've reached out to me upon checking-in with all their possible issues and complains but they didn't. Had they done it, I'd have sent another cleaner to resolve all issues so it really frustrates me to see bad behavior these guests. Guests according to Airbnb policy can also request last minute accommodation changes and for whatever reason, these guests didn't do so either.
Whether they were having a bad day, or were trying to extort refunds or travel credits from the Airbnb system is beyond me. For other guests' future references, if anything does not live up to your satisfaction, I'm always available for help.
All future guests and hosts please beware of this person - hands down the worst tenant you could have. Because of this person's bad behavior I had to involve both Airbnb and an attorney. This is also the only 1 out of the 100+ guests I've had that truly disturbs me.
Tenant wanted to save money so I extended a discount and agreed to renting an extra night through text exchange. After shipping tenant the keys, he stopped communicating, stayed for an extra night and refused to pay. Tenant also broke my bed, left the apartment very dirty, and of course never returned the keys after 2 weeks even though he said he would.
Only after I got Airbnb and my attorney involved did I get a response from him. Tenant started making things up and said the apartment wasn't clean, but the professional cleaners I hired before this person's arrival has sent me pictures of a totally cleaned place. It is very upsetting to see 1 bad actor in this community ruining the experience for Airbnb members so I hope all future hosts and guests stay away from this person.
