I am a Toastmaster, a dancer, an outdoorsman and chef.
I've been doing various forms of public speaking for more than 10 years. I officially joined Toastmasters just over 2 years ago and only looked back wondering why I didn't join this great international organization sooner. Thankfully I don't live with regrets.
Instead I'm always busy looking forward to getting out and having fun. I enjoy dancing whether swinging to a jazzy beat, swaying my hips to salsa or slowing things down with a tango. Regardless what form it takes, I live life full of energy.
I'm a firm believer in dressing for the weather, rather than staying inside and complaining about it. You will find me hiking and bearing mosquitoes in the Summer or skiing amid trees and mountains in the Winter (and the many sports and activities in between like golf, snowshoeing, surfing and more).
After a long day at work or on the ski hills, I'm always up for a great meal. I've been cooking for nearly 20 years now, starting with pancakes and eggs to more exotic dishes today like biryani or a solid French roast.
Having lived abroad in Switzerland, Montreal and now San Francisco and seen much of the world already, there are 3 things you should know about me: I love to live life to its fullest - this tends to keep me busy. I love to try new things - and to meet new people. This can and does thankfully go hand in hand. Finally, I was born in the wrong decade - from enjoying Scotch, old musical and film classics to acting like a gentleman. This is the best way to stay busy (especially when traveling - why sit on a beach for 7 days), and have fun doing new things with good company.
