Francesca's apartment was truly in the heart of Rome! Unfortunately she was not well so her colleague Valerio met us at the apartment. He was very helpful with everything in terms of settling us in. The apartment was bigger than I expected. It provided everything we needed for our stay in Rome and the kitchen was fantastic as we had to cook a few times as a lot of places were either closed or fully booked out on the Easter long weekend. My only issue with the place is the noise generated from the wine bar next door which doesn't die down until the wee hours of the morning and it's really loud! So suggest ear plugs even if you aren't a light sleeper. Also the bed was quite firm which didn't bother me but it bothered my partner. Overall though, despite the negatives, we still thought it was a great apartment which offered all the basic comforts and facilities away from home. Thanks Francesca!
location ottima a 2 passi dal vaticano. Casa spaziosa, pulita e ben attrezzata. Week end molto piacevole !!!
perfect location. lift a real bonus. in the middle of town, so some road noise. francesca arranged transport from fco and was waiting for us on arrival. place is small(bathroom small) but has everything you need
Francesca greeted me at the apartment and made sure I had everything I needed, including a map of the neighborhood. The location of the apartment is fantastic! It is close to sights and some of the best shops and restaurants in Rome. There is a grocery store down the block and easy access to public transportation.
Great location, very comfortable space.
Valerio met us in front of the apartment on the first day and helped us out along the way. He also help us out with lost luggage from Alitalia and gave us great recommendations about the neighborhood. There are nice restaurants and a grocery store next-door to the apartment. Argentina Tower Square is right next to the apartment where all the buses taxis and streetcars are located makes it very central and easy to get around. Great time.
Tutto è andato nel migliore dei modi. Ottima accoglienza e disponibilità. Appartamento molto carino e posizionato magnificamente.
We got a taxi from the airport directly to the flat - there is a fixed rate of 48EUR for central locations from the airport. You could easily get a bus or walk from the train/bus station if you wanted though. Unfortunately Francesca was delayed due to a car accident (I'm surprised there aren't more, the traffic in Rome is crazy! So glad we didn't have a hire car!) but we only had to wait about 30minutes before being let in to the flat by a representative for Francesca, who arrived herself shortly after to give us information about the area and the flat.
The flat was exactly as pictured: clean, stylish and with all the essentials provided (soap, washing liquid, towels, sugar etc). It is in a brilliant location, only a few minutes from Largo di Torre Argentina - very under-promoted ruins in the middle of a busy square, I imagine most tourists do not visit the ruins and their resident cats! We could walk to all the main sights in under 30minutes, including the Vatican and Colosseum.
We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.
Thanks for your nice feedback! I was very sorry for my delay due to an accident..... but you were very nice and understood!
Very nice guests!
