Born and raised Oregon, I live in the Willamette Valley in a tiny house, and enjoy traveling and exploring locally and abroad.
We spent two nights at Rhea's tent and spent the day in between at the Renaissance Festival. It was a great experience! We had just as much fun playing croquet as we did at Ren Fest. The set up is really nice and clean and is a good distance from the house for privacy. If you're from the city, the experience of seeing the stars so bright at night and sleeping with absolute quietness is wonderful. Rhea is super friendly and accommodating, and she keeps the place very clean. We'll definitely be back!
Nice, roomy tent with clean facilities close by. Rhea also has a great little area with games like croquet, and she was really easy to check in with. I booked this the last minute- literally the day of- and she made it happen, so I really appreciated it! Great host.
This was my second time at Rhea's Airbnb and each time was lovely. There's a beautiful creek to wade in, wide open space to frolic, play games, or lounge, and an overall feeling of peace at this space. As a host, Rhea is very accommodating and quick to respond to messages in preparation for the visit. I will be back. :)
Rhea's place was amazing! It was huge for just one person and it made me feel at home. It looks even better than the pictures and the house has lots of natural light. Summer in Portland is amazing, so I was able to explore the neighborhood and it's very close to the best spots in SE. I walked everywhere and was always looking forward to come back to Rhea's house to relax.
Wonderful to hear all of this, Julio. I'm so glad you enjoyed Portland and my place! I hope the whole trip was a great success!
My friend and I stayed at Rhea's while they were not there, so I did not have the pleasure of meeting her, but she was pleasant and accommodating in her communications with us. The place itself is fantastic - clean, warm and spacious. The neighbourhood is awesome and close to public transport. It is a short walking distance to some superb coffee and food places as well as great bars. I truly fell in love with Portland from this visit and would recommend Rhea's place to anyone looking to experience the great city of Portland.
Yay! Thanks, Brad. "I truly fell in love with Portland from this visit." That is exactly what I hope to hear from all of my guests. I am so happy you enjoyed it so much.
The location was easy to get anywhere I needed to by bus ($2.50 fare for one time ride or $5 for all day). There are also a number of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
Rhea was very helpful and stayed in touch to make sure that everything was what I expected. The place had a lot of space and was nice and quiet. I'd definitely stay there again!
Rhea was very generous and accommodating with her place. All of our expectations were met. Thanks to her excellent restaurant recommendations we had a fantastic stay in SE Portland.
Rhea has a nice comfortable room. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, and located in good neighborhood in SW Portland. Close to bus transportation, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops. Can't go wrong with this one. Though I did not meet them during my stay, they allowed me access to their place while they were away.
I had a great stay with Rhea. She's very welcoming and friendly, the room is just as advertised, and she even lent me a bike for getting around Portland!
I stayed there with my boyfriend for almost a week. Rhea and Jonathan were really helpful and made possible for us to feel at home. The location is great, close to public transportation and also near to some restaurants and supermarkets. The place was clean and organized, just what we were hoping for. I would definetely reccomend it!
