Very cute apartment in a quiet, secluded area of Trastevere, a beautiful neighborhood with several shops and restaurants. Short walk to public transit stops (n8 tram, 780 and H buses) for transport to major sites. Simona was a fantastic hostess, available by email/chat promptly to answer any questions and provide recommendations for excellent restaurants. She was very accommodating with check-in and checkout times, and we were able to extend our stay quite easily. Very good wifi connection, which was essential for us in order to navigate the city. The beds are full-size (maybe a bit small for 2 but fine for a short stay) and there is a washer/dryer outside in the courtyard area (didn't use the laundry, but it is available). Overall, would recommend :-).
Great cozy and cool appartement. It has everything you need. And good public transport around the corner.
When visiting Rome, this place is aan very good option!
The apartment is a 3 minute walk from the main street in Trastevere and right beside a tram stop. It's close to the train station and is connected directly by tram from there. It's very handy and is a nice apartment. There is most definitely a washing machine in the little yard, I don't know how the previous reviewer missed this. The wifi was also working completely fine. The main area of the apt is rather dark though which is the only downside.
It's a great place to stay in Rome, close to everything and you feel like a local staying slightly off the beaten path.
The apartment is super cute! We loved that it had two full beds and 1.5 bathrooms. It is a bit out from the main part of town and we had difficulty figuring our way around initially. We had great difficulty with the internet. We did not get it to work at all, despite Simona's assistance. We were also very disappointed to discover that the apartment DID NOT have a washing machine as indicated on the listing. Access to internet and a washing machine were two of the main reason we chose this apartment. If these features are important to you, this is not the place for you.
Apartment is cozy and very secure, in a convenient, busy & exciting part of Rome. Host was accommodating when we needed to check out early due to building-wide internet failure (storm damage).
It was a convenient apartment (a quick cab ride from the Trastevere train station) but definitely in a more residential/quiet neighborhood than main Trastevere. The apartment was clean, quiet, and good for two people, and was stocked with everything you need (you could tell the place was lived in, unlike some other airbnb places). Simona and her mother were very responsive to our queries.
One big bummer was the WiFi was down/not fixed, which was a problem since I needed to access/send documents--wish I had known before getting there since WiFi is usually pretty important/crucial for travelers. There wasn't any house info for guests about how to use the WiFi, so it made me wonder if it even works at all.
Simona is welcome back any time, she was a great guest, eas communication and took care of my apartment
Simon and his girlfriend were wonderful guests, super nice people...
Nice Italian couple - very respectful of the other guests on the site -
