Ahmed is a nice host. He does not live in the same apartment, but he always responses immediately. There was some technique problem in the beginning, but we managed to figure it out, and we had a nice way to communicate. The room I stayed for a month is clean and warm, quite and convenient to the bus station. I appreciate that the host really concerns about the guest.
The apartment is very large and well-furnished. As a traveler, it was nice to have all of the basic kitchen necessities, a washer and dryer, cable, and WiFi. The bedroom is large, with a queen bed, large desk, dresser, lamps, and of course the attached half bath. There is plenty of light during the day, and the heating was more than adequate. The street parking is generally not difficult, though the record snowfall during the month and a half I was there did mean that growing snow banks started stealing some of the best spots. The neighborhood seems nice and safe. From what I understand, the room is a fair value for the neighborhood, especially considering that it is furnished and available for short or medium-term arrangements. Ahmed was easy to get a hold of when I had questions or concerns and he cares that his guests are happy.
Ahmed is the quintessential host. My daughter recently relocated to Boston, and required an efficiency unit in the center of Boston for a little more than two weeks.
The location is excellent! My daughter was an eight-minute walk to work. The unit is as photographed. It is small, but has everything a person needs. The bed is comfy. The unit is clean.
Yes, it is small, but when one is working there's very little time spent in the unit, so it met her needs.
When we needed to extend the day for another three days, Ahmed worked with us to accommodate the special offer. He's very kind, and very concerned about his guests.
Ahmed is an excellent host!! I would recommend him. We would stay in one of Ahmed's listings again.
Great host. Ahmed is a great guy and everything went smoothly. Will def use his service again!
Response from Ahmed:
Thanks Yani! You and your friends are always welcome.
I stayed with Ahmed for 4 weeks, I can really recommend staying here. I'm relocating from Europe so I needed a place to stay until I found my own place. I booked one of the 2 rooms in the basement, both rooms have a private bathroom and you share the kitchen and living room with the other room. It is very private, you are not part of somebodies house as with most places at airBnB. During my stay Ahmed refurnished the place, it looks much better now then before. The bed in my room was very good!! Ahmed is a great host! There is a bus stop around the corner that goes directly to Harvard Square (10 min). It's also possible to walk to the Alewife T station (15 min walk) which is probably the fastest alternative if you want to go downtown.
Tidy apartment in great location. Although Ahmed was not personally available because of a family emergency, he arranged for another friend to meet me, who was there waiting when I arrived. The apartment is quite spacious -- I only used the bedroom and kitchen because that was plenty of room, although there is a large living room as well with space and lots of natural light. I'd return happily.
Great place close to everything. Ahmed made everything easy and was very accessible, and helped a lot with recommendations regarding activities and restaurants. Would stay there again when I come back to Boston.
Ahmed was a really friendly host. He helped me with my stay in U.S. with a last time reservation.
Great room nice time
Ahmed was very available!
The only thing is that is a bit faraway from the Tbut there are buses!
I recommended this place
My mother always said if you dont have anything nice to say, say nothing at all.
So I guess me reference stops here?
Only joking, I met "Fro" in Asia and we travelled together for a while. He is always trying to learn new things and is always good for a laugh. He is clean and tidy (but needs a shave) and will go out of his way to help you in anyway possible.
A very accomodating person and I am sure he will make anyones stay enjoyable (and fun).
