The description of the location of the apartment was very accurate; shopping, eating, drinking, attractions, and subways are within easy walking distance. The apartment itself was clean and minimal; as shown in the photos. The bed and futon were comfortable. Water pressure in the bathroom was awesome. Having WiFi was great. Linens and towels were clean and comfortable.
Artie was very responsive to my texts/calls. He was able to offer suggestions on what we could do with our luggage since we arrived much earlier than check-in time (e.g. lockers at Penn Station or Grand Central Terminal).
This was my first AirBnB experience. I appreciate Artie for walking me through it. I would recommend this apartment to anyone and would stay here again the next time I am in the area.
Artie's place is really comfortable and in a great part of town. Very clean and modern I appreciate his willingness to book my visit.
Super modern, very clean, and quiet! Loved the "no-stairs" thing. Felt very safe and there's a great bagel place practically next door! Would definitely stay here again.
We had Avery smooth experience. Artie was clear and communicative and responded right away to questions!
My mom and I stayed at Artie's place while we explored museums and wandered around Manhattan. It was clean, easily accessible- close to plenty of subway lines and very well insulated. After a long day touring and walking the city it was wonderful to come home to a clean and quiet apartment. There is also an adorable French wine bar on the adjacent block that we fell in love with. I highly recommend this apartment- especially for those ready to walk and take the subway and enjoy the city as if you lived there.
This apartment was perfect! Within walking distance from a bunch of great restaurants and shops, as accurate as the AirBnB description posted, and Artie was easy to communicate with throughout the entire stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I travel to NY!
Artie was very communicative and welcoming! He is super-responsive, was very helpful introducing me to the neighborhood and finding my way around. He was accommodating to our schedule needs on check-in (we were in NY to see a Broadway show in the afternoon). The flat was very well-maintained, pleasant, nicely lit and comfortable. Quiet and safe. Great location! Close to the subway going uptown, and walking distance to Little Italy, Chinatown, and the 9/11 memorial. A special note to knitters and crocheters out there: You're just 5 blocks down the street from Purl Soho, one of the best LYS in the country.
This apartment was exactly what we wanted! Soho/ Little Italy and right next to Chinatown was a dream to be near. Amazing affordable food and a safe environment close to all the subway stations you need at either Canal st or Spring st. Lots of cool cafes and stores close by. Happy Bones is next door and does the best coffee! The apartment was spacious and had a fully functioning kitchen with everything you need. Artie was really helpful & easy to get in contact with if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone wanting a truly authentic New York experience.
Hard to beat this great location, ideal for anyone looking to explore the city as it truly is easily accessible to every part. Condo was great, spacious, clean, modern, everything you need for a great stay.
The apartment was great. There was 3 of us and still plenty of room for us all. The bedroom also has a wardrobe and quite a bit of space behind the bed which I don't think you can see in the picture, so that was a nice surprise :) Great kitchen area with lots of space and good shower. Often showers can be poor with little pressure, this one was great - large and spacious with good pressure.
Location was ideal, in the middle of lots of lovely restaurants (I'd highly recommend Lombardi's pizza restaurant about a block back from the apartment). Shopping nearby is also great for those not wanting to go all the way up to 5th. Easy to walk downtown to see Brooklyn Bridge, Ground Zero etc.
Artie was very helpful when needed and easy to get in contact with. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
I have known Artie for 30+ years and have worked with him on various marketing projects. Artie is truly a person who cares about providing people with a good experience. I have stayed at his place several times, found it to be in a unique area of NYC, filled with much to do. I was in NYC on business several months ago and stayed at his apartment. I found it comfortable, very clean and convenient to some wonderful and unique restaurants, shopping and much more. I would highly recommend him and his beautiful place as an excellent stay to capture the experience of great culture, great food not to mention a beautiful place to be in while enjoying the city.
