This villa was incredibly hard to find. We rang the day before and asked for someone to meet us at the top of the stairs but no one came. We spent 45 minutes looking for the place and eventually we found the owner just sitting in the cafe next door relaxing. He introduced himself and then we didn't see or hear from him again. The villa is at a nice location if you have packed light. I do not recommend this for young children or people with health issues as it is quite a hike to get to this place.
The villa itself is nice if you don't plan on leaving - there are a few cafes on the beach and you can hire surfboards from Ida the house keeper, and she also has snorkels :) transport is so expensive here, we asked Ida to call us a taxi and instead she got her husband to drive us - $15 for just down the road..
The wifi hardly works and the neighbors consistently played loud music up until around 3am every night.
Bingin Beach is beautiful, but I would recommend staying somewhere easier to get to.
Magnificent view of the sea, surf, a fairy tale. Unity with the elements and romance. Too far to walk from the parking lot, but it's worth it! open architecture of the house is impressive. Our friends three days without leaving the house and enjoy being in it. The only question to be resolved is the safest way to the house during high tide
Unfortunately we booked it but didn't end up staying as my son broke his arm and the steps down to the house weren't practical for us . We visited the house to let the housekeeper know we weren't going to stay though . She was lovely . The house was lovely too.
WOW! What an experience!!
The Bali Beach Surf House is exactly that! Wonderful open plan living right on the beach.
We travelled with 4 adults & a 3yo to this Bingin House & we definitely weren't disappointed & it comes highly recommended.
Ida the house keeper is FANTASTIC & makes your stay very comfortable & easy. She was even able to go to the grocery store & fetch what we needed daily (including beer when it was required!), her breakfast cooking is (email hidden)d our son loved her :)
There are a handful of restaurants located right on the beach, which are very close by & serve lovely, cheap food. We never had a bad meal from any of the places we ate..And we were eating at least twice a day down on the beach!!
The trip down to the house from the top of the cliff is definitely tough with luggage/surfboards & children, but it is well worth it once you arrive.
We didn't do much day tripping around while we were there, but Ida was able to organise a scooter & helmets or a driver for the days that we did want to do something!
I would certainly recommend this accommodation to anyone & we will definitely be back next time we take a trip to Bali!
Thank you so much Ida for your wonderful hospitality..and SaTjan for the very easy booking with you via Air BnB :)
As in the pictures it's a really nice place in a great location for surfing and hanging out on the beach. The maid was really friendly and helpful and made the place spotless every morning and cooked a pretty good breakfast. Would come back here if I came to Bali again.
The view is amazing and the restaurant that just serves seafood on the beach is absolutely amazing!!! We found the Mosquitos to be quite bad in the evenings but the house was very clean and Ida the house helper is amazing!! Request her to make breakfast, you'll be glad you did!!
Thanks Susan for the booking....Yea now with the rain can be more mosquitos . But I believe was no problem for sleeping as we have AC in the room + MOSQUITO NET .
it takes effort to get into the Villa, but it's a perfect place to replace the boredorm of a city "comfortable" life. the location is quit far from Bali's most hip area or bars etc … but it has a lot of great beach options around. overall worth to try rather than the overcrowded area like Seminyak or overprice area like Nusa Dua.
Beautiful place to relax at...
Thank YOU !!!
Oh My Gosh! Where should I start. We've been in the Deek-Sha Surf House for 10 days and it was more than awesome.
The view, the beach, the whole location is adorable.
Ida – the housemaid – is there, whenever you need her. She is very fest, good in english, smart and makes a breakfast ... to dream of long long long time.
We started with us as a couple and were 8 people in the end and it worked all out very very good. Everyone was really astoundend.
I would asked for a driver and a helping hand to come down those stairs. They are really ... well, stairs to heaven.
Thank you Jo Marie , Im glad all went well and worked out .
She was nice and she rearranged my furniture in an interesting new way.
Sajan and I met on a boat in the Gilis islands 2010, and have spent a glorious year travelling around the World together. He is creative, fun and loves a good dance especially at Burning Man festival. He's into the invisible world of energy and healing which makes him a very calming person to hang with. He's very fair and trustworthy.
