Hello! I used to host guests in my flat in Paris, that was a great experience but now i prefer use airbnb to travel and discover new places especially cities in Europe or far away !

Marion was great to communicate with when we booked our stay. She was fast to get back to us every time we needed to contact her which was very much appreciated. Her apartment is located in a great area - central to lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and much more. Once you get a hang of the area it's easy to find your way around the city. The other reviewers were right about the stairs, they are extremely steep and narrow and there are 5 (I think) full flights. They don't seem to be the main staircase at least so they were never busy with other people. It is just a big ordeal to haul a suitcase up and down. They also appear to be leading to a sketchy area but the apartment itself is just fine. The apartment itself was small but comfortable. We hardly spent time in the apartment other than to cook a few meals and to rest our feet. It was a little worn in certain places but all in all it was fine for a weeks stay if you can spend the majority of your time exploring a great city! Thanks Marion for letting us stay in your flat.
Marion is very sweet, and has a lovely apartment. She was waiting for us to arrive, and our flight was delayeed due to rain in the US so we did arrive 2 hours later than expected. Her apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of the 9th arrondiisement with great restaurants and bars and is close to the cadet metro stop, which was nice after long days of walking. There were some issues, however. Marion never told us that there was a code needed to ennter her building. It was pouring on the day we arrived, and luckily the store owner next door was able to provide the code for us. Thats a pretty simple error to correct, and hopeefully she will in the future. Additionally, there is a narrow 6 flihts of stiars that made the trip up and down a little difficult (but it could count as a private gym) Most problematic, howev er, was the fact that her apartment smelled TERRIBLY of cigarette smoke, to the extent that all of our clothes still reek of it, even the articles of clothing we didnt wear. It was difficult to fall asleep at first with the smell permeating the bedroom.,and the towels also reeked of smoke. Additionally, anyone over 5 foot 8 cannot shower comfortably, as the ceiling is incredibly low. My husband had some issues and had to crouch the entire time, and he is just shy of 5"11. She had no oven, but we were aware of that before coming. All in all, the location was great and we spent very little time in the apartment, but the time we did spend could have been made better had there not been these issues. It is definitely a good value if you are someone traveling to paris on a budget who doesnt care of these specifics.
We had a wonderfull stay at Marion's appartment. The appartment was clean and cosy and is very wel situated within 10-20 minutes distance of all the hotspots of Paris.
A very nice clean apartment... the climb up is not for the feint hearted but the location is excellent and Marion was very nice
The flat is very comfortable, with a great position and it's very romantic! The only problem is the stair to reach the fifth floor that is very narrow and doesn't make the flat suitable for children (but it's just my opinion). Marion is very kind and answer quickly to every e-mail. In few words, if you are looking for a romantic place, near Montmantre, in an authentic "parisienne quartier", Marion's apartament is the perfect choice.
Don't miss a visit to the "Passage Verdeau" and to the Bakery on Rue Faub. Montmartre, (website hidden)
The bathroom is not very big and is blind, but it's very functional and doesn't take off anything to the rest of the apartament.
A lovely appartement in a super cool and central neighbourhood. Marion is supersweet and I had a very reliable and professional email exchange with her before arriving.
Everything that you need was in the appartement, the wifi was superfast and an extra plus for letting us stay late the last day since we had an evening flight.
Prefer this apartment over a hotel stay any day.
Our stay was OK as we were visiting my sister who lived nearby so only used the flat to sleep. The flat itself was well equipped and warm. The main problem for the host and the other tenants was the damp. The upstairs was warm but the bedding damp and there was nothing the host could have done as it is a structural problem. If you are taller than 5'8" you have to bend over to stand in the shower! The bed is reached by a step ladder which is very secure. The flat did smell of smoke so the few things we had also smelt - not sure if it was from a neighbouring flat.
Overall a very clean flat but would not recommend for spending a lot of time in because of the damp. Cosy though and Marion has made it really nice.
Marions apartment was wonderful and quaint. It was perfectly located and I'd recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris.
Marion really helped us out on our recent trip to Paris. We booked her place only a week before we were scheduled to arrive, and she was very quick to respond and helpful.
Her apartment is small (aren't all apartments in Paris?) but very cozy and unique, and we loved the loft area where the bed is. It's a fifth floor walkup, so keep that in mind if you don't like stairs, but we appreciated the extra exercise after stuffing ourselves with Parisian delights. The apartment's location makes a great home base for exploring Paris. It's in the 9th, between the Cadet and Grand Boulevards stations. Both stations are about a 5 minute walk and will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go in the city very quickly. All the usual amenities can be found nearby: small bakeries, street food, groceries, wine, etc.
The only criticism I can think of is that the immediate area is sort of missing the neighborhoody feeling of other places like the Marais or Montmarte. But it's more central than either of them, and on a very quiet street, which is nice when you want to retreat from the action after a long day filled with noise and crowds.
In any case, we had a great time staying at Marion's place and would definitely recommend it to others. Thanks Marion!
We loved Paris and Marion's apartment was the ideal location to explore it from. Close enough to the action that it is easy to get to everything (the cadet metro station is a 3 min walk), but far enough out that you are eating with locals and more importantly, paying local prices rather than tourist trap prices. The apartment was clean and simple, very fast wifi and Marion was very quick to respond to any questions we had both before and during our stay. We would recommend Marion's apartment to our fellow travelers.
Marion was a perfect guest. She stayed in my apartment in Venice for few days end everything went fine. Recomended
