I'm a Londoner, living in Brooklyn. I've been in NYC more years than I can remember and make my living by talking to people and writing about them.

Christina's apartment is in a great location in Brooklyn and is perfect for one person or a couple. She made getting the keys easy and gave us a helpful list of local restaurants. We would definitely stay there again!
My in-laws stayed at Christina's place and couldn't be happier: clean, cozy and close to the park, museum, subway and lots of restaurants and shops. Though Christina was out of town, she followed up closely over email and we had the friendly assistance of the upstairs neighbors who gave us a walkthrough and dealt with key-logistics. Highly recommended if you are looking for an easy, cozy Brooklyn rental.
Initially, I was inquiring about staying at Christina's neighbors' apt (highly rated). I normally wouldn't go somewhere that wasn't rated, but her neighbor pointed out Christina's listing. Thank goodness she did! or else I wouldn't have foundI this lovely apartment and host!
We stayed a total of 5 nights, couple days before and after New Year's. Even though we didn't get to meet, Christina kept in constant communication from our booking, arrival, and departure. We felt at home from the moment we walked in. Key exchange was super easy. Christina left us a bottle of wine. Since we visited in the winter, us California kids were concerned about being warm inside but she let us know that the heater automatically turns on. My parents took the bedroom while my sister and I took the living room. Everyone slept very well. Her couch is super comfy. She also provided some toiletries and guide books. Christina gave us instructions for her Wifi, additional heater instructions, and a list of restaurant recommendations. She made some space in one of her closets for our coats. Additionally, Christina has a great book collection. My dad really enjoyed "New York: Then and Now". While we ate breakfast on our first morning, it started to lightly snow and we all got so excited and stuck our heads out the windows to get a feel.
The neighborhood is quiet and lovely! Lots of people walking their dogs. We frequented a grocery store on Flatbush Ave, but there's another just a hop, skip, and a jump from her apt. Easy access to Manhattan with 3 (2,3,B,Q) metro stops a short walk away from the apt.
As a first time Airbnb user, I was extremely pleased with how well everything went. By our last day, I was getting so used to being there, I didn't want to leave. I would love to stay again another time!
Christina - I can't thank you enough for being a great host. My family and I are so grateful. We are still raving to our family and friends!
It was wonderful to receive Christina, specially because she´s also a host on airbnb of a lovely place in Brooklyn.
Communication was great, and she leaved the apartment spotless, i would love to receive her again!
Christina is a very cheerful and accommodating host. I was looking for a place for my parents' visit and it had everything you would need. Her apartment is very clean and for the winter there is no shortage of heat. The apartment has a lot more daylight than the average NY apartment: a good deal of cross ventilation if you want a lot of fresh air. It's extremely well located near things to do and shops. The neighborhood is very safe. Definitely, a nice place to stay!
