Jackson Cobb is actually Alyce Jackson and Phil Cobb, two flexible adults with over 125 years of life experience. In May of 2013 they embarked on a 3-4 year living and traveling odyssey throughout South America.

Jackson Cobb started in Quito on May 1, 2013, the first leg of their ongoing travels. Next they moved to Cusco, Peru until April, 2014. There next stay was a 5 month love affair with coastal Chile. On September 28th of 2014 they moved to Curitiba, Brasil for 6 months. After Brasil, it was on to Pocitos in Uruguay for 6 months. And after their stay in Uruguay, they moved to Cuenca, Ecuador were the plan to stay for a longer period of time.

When they begin traveling again in 2016 they are open to staying anywhere in South America that has great weather (no higher than 80 degrees F.), genuine people, foods that calm and wines that excite.

And who is Jackson Cobb you ask?

Alyce (the Jackson of Jackson Cobb) is trained as a CPA with the heart of an artist. A non-smoker and moderate wine drinker, Alyce is at her best solving a puzzle or following the complex plot of a well written mystery. Preferring intimate conversation and good food to large groups, Alyce cheers at football games, calls her own fouls at basketball games and grows orchids when opportunity permits.

Phil (the Cobb of Jackson Cobb) is an entrepreneur that has developed and sold numerous businesses. Also a non-smoker, Phil is best when creating something. A foodie with minor cooking skills, he is also a wine drinker. Phil also has a taste for cachaca that he shaped while working in the state of Bahia in Brasil. He was an educator at the Escola Pan Americana in Bahia in the 1970's. It was while living in Salvador that Phil first experienced the Batida (Bahia's name for a caipirinha ). Now Phil is looking forward to being reintroduced to America del Sur and live in those places that were missed the first time.

Jackson Cobb are considerate travelers with great respect for other people, their life styles and property. Jackson Cobb are organized, courteous and mature guests. We look forward to meeting you...soon.
