It is not easy to reply to a feedback of this kind, but I will try:
John and his wife asked to stay at Sunny House for 1 night only, and put forward their reservation only 48 hours before arriving. They paid around 80 euros, including Airbnb commission, for a villa that has 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a swimming pool still open and in working condition.
I'd like to stress that we usually don't accept 1 night stays (minimum is 4 nights), because cleaning the villa and the outdoor area costs more than 100 euros. I decided to accept the booking, even if it wasn’t economical, because they were on their honeymoon and I reckoned it was the decent thing to do.
First, JJ and Lauren published a review in which they complained for not having received my phone number!
I promptly contacted airbnb(they send it automatically in the confirmation email) to demand an explanation and I have confirmed that they had written a false, so it was removed this part of the review
I don't know what they mean with the villa not being “huge or luxurious” (the villa is more than 150 square meters, has all the equipment listed on AirBnB and it looks exactly like the pictures), admittedly there isn’t a crystal chandelier and the floors are not plated in gold J
Sure, someone can have dogs in the area (we are in the prestigious district called “Isola”, the area is dotted with large villas surrounded by countryside), but it is first time i read that dogs barked constantly, as you can read from all the others feedbacks; sure, it can happen, maybe they were chasing a cat! It’s unfortunate that it happened during their single night stay, but if you shut the windows you can relax and enjoy the silence (I like to stress that there is a lot of green space between a villa and another)
Finally, it’s a testimony to the quality of the accommodation that we are already at full capacity for the next high season, with bookings made by people coming back for the second or third time.
