Its getting redundant to say Avila is a good host. Second time with her. She is the poster child for air b&b. Prompt, courteous, flexible, kind and considerate.
Aviva is a very nice person, considerate of our needs, helpful with our plans and guiding about seeing Boston. The coffee was great and she shared with us her delicious smoothy, and a most tasty Thai soup. She is an enthusiastic gardener and she gave us good advice about this issue. Aviva left to work early, so we had no problem sharing the bathroom. The neibourhood is pleasant and in the evenings we used to walk home from the bus station in Rosindale Square. Transportation is by the subway and the bus. To help us with the transportation, she gave us a lift to the T station in Forest Hills. We would like to meet Aviva again!
The apartment is tranquil - I slept very well. Aviva is the perfect host, helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
Aviva was a wonderful host. We just moved to Boston and needed accommodation, and we couldn't have asked for a better situation. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and her apartment is beautiful. I highly recommend booking a stay with Aviva!
Response from Aviva:
Thanks Martin! Hope you are both enjoying your apartment and new neighborhood. it was a joy to host you.
I had a very nice stay at Aviva's sunny room in quiet neighborhood. Aviva was a lovely host and quite welcoming. Linens and towels were great as was the bed. spent most of my time with new grandson but enjoyed coming back to this nice place to get some rest and relaxation. Many thanks!
Aviva is a convivial host, who happily shares her kitchen. And her smoothies, which my spouse, Carolyn, very much enjoyed. The pair seem to think avocados enhance any smoothie going. Aviva was helpful with tips, nearest supermarket, buses to take to the T, and recommended a nearby bakery, which provided the best bread we've gobbled down, except for Germany. She recommended the old building of the Boston Central Library, which has Sienna marble Michelangelo would have drooled over.
We slept well, good bed, and Fletcher Street is a lovely residential street, no noise at night, or during the day for that matter. Parking on Fletcher is ridiculously easy. Aviva permitted us to store our bikes in her basement. The Harvard Arnold Arboretum (sp?) was in full bloom. Aviva walks to the T thru it in about 30 minutes; it took us longer because of the interesting birds, blooms, and variety of well labelled trees.
The only drawback, which wasn't a drawback for us, is that Fletcher street is not downtown, and its a considerable public transportation haul to Harvard and MIT. Major pluses for the location are the Arnold A. and Forest Hills cemetery. Yeah, a cemetery! One of the memorials in it was designed by the same guy who designed the Lincoln Memorial.
And Fletcher street is on the right side of Boston for driving to Cape Cod, as we did for a wonderful day of biking.
We chose Aviva's place mostly because of previous ratings. She lived up to her reviews. Considerate, thoughtful and reasonably priced. Nice neighborhood near the arboretum. Particularly good if you have a car. Easy free street parking.
Aviva is a very good person respecting the privicy of her guests. The location was fine with my purposes. I would like to recommend this location to the other guests.
We have spent one month in Aviva's place and it was great. She is very kind, friendly and respectful. She will help you with anything you need anytime.
The house is nice and it is really sunny. The street is very quiet and beautiful
We would definitively recommend this choice!
I and my husband stayed in her home for over 2 weeks till the end of August. While that, we could enjoy life in suburb area of Boston so much such as buying local vegetables in a farmers market in every Saturday, walking around in the neighbourhood. She has rental vegetable garden in the neighbourhood and provided us lots of vegetables which she took care of . If you really want to experience life of American, I reccomend you to sta at her home.
Aviva was a wonderful guest. She was busy, resourceful, independent, and considerate. Being an airbnb host herself she was curious about our experience and shared hers. We agreed that we are fortunate to have the opportunity to meet so many interesting people and it's a winning formula for everyone.
We thoroughly enjoyed having Aviva stay with us. She was a wonderful guest in every way. She was great about letting us know her arrival time, and her itinerary while here. Aviva was completely respectful of our home, and left everything clean. We enjoyed chatting with her and her friend. Aviva was our first guest to take us up on the offer of milking a goat. She was up early to milk 2 mornings! Clearly she wants to immerse herself in her surroundings.
We highly recommend you host Aviva if you get the chance!
Aviva was a kind and considerate guest. It was a pleasure having her stay! I'd highly recommend her.
Aviva was the type of guest that every host hopes for. Friendly, bright, interesting, considerate, well-traveled and quite capable of taking care of herself and finding her way around the neighborhood and city. I enjoyed having her stay with me. If she heads out on the road again, and contacts you about a place to stay, I highly recommend that you invite her in.
Aviva has a very sweet disposition. It was fun talking with her about Boston and we hope she finds housing nearby so we can stay in touch.
Aviva was a lovely guest - very easy-going, thoughtful, and pleasant. I really enjoyed having her and would welcome her back anytime. I look forward to seeing her airbnb room for rent in Boston. Just as she was a great guest, I am sure she is also a wonderful host!
Thanks Aviva, great to meet you and share a coffee or two, always nice to meet a kind and interesting person such as yourself!!
Aviva and her friend stayed on the main floor of the Hawthorne triplex. They were great guests. I would gladly have them back.
