my name is chris
Great house, central location, and a nice neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside is being right next to the bathroom - it can get pretty noisy. Otherwise a great place with friendly hosts!
This was a bad match, which is a shame because if the room is advertised as it really is some people will have a good experience while avoiding people like us who it doesn't fit for at all. This is best for twenty something's who dot mind a very public experience in a private room in a house of 5-8 people coming and going. The room itself is nice and the place is clean, and the people are good. the contact person wasn't there and doesn't live there so we kept meeting people and never knew where Chris was until someone said he was living in Hawaii. Perhaps he should have told us who to talk to when we got there. Also the room with a bathroom is essentially the bathroom for the entire house, other airbnb people and guests. There is another private bathroom a couple other people use but since this is the primary one we heard everyone's bathroom experience.and since there were no locks on the door I the bathroom or to our room from the bathroom we were walked in on a few times during our two days there. Locks people. I like airbnb for the variety and alternative choices and savings. We wished we picked the tiny shack in the back because at least we would have had the privacy.
This place is rad! Close to town and the flat mates we're friendly.
A few blocks north of Church street, so it was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable, right next to the bathroom and the kitchen. Had a good time.
This was my second time at the house. The first was in the Backyard Tiny House (also highly recommended!). The housemates are super friendly and helpful. The bedroom is connected to the bathroom, which is great. The place is clean and quiet, and I felt very comfortable utilizing the kitchen space as well. It's also super conveniently located within an easy walking distance of downtown - even in the cold. And Barrio Bakery around the corner is a must for morning coffee.
Once again a great experience. Highly recommended for the solo traveler.
I had a great stay at Chris's place. The room is a comfortable size and connects directly to the bathroom on the first floor of their house. The roommates were very nice, although my boyfriend and I were out in town most of the time. Chris's place is pretty close to the downtown area, and the bus system in Burlington was pretty good. (I didn't have a car during our short weekend stay in the cute city and got around easily). The stay was easy, affordable, and comfortable.
We just stayed for one night while checking out the city of Burlington! It was perfectly warm in the house and in the room on a weekend that was down to -11 degrees and windy! Plenty of parking! So easy to find and precise directions on what to do upon arrival and departure! Warm, Comfortable bed and Super clean room and bathroom! : )
the basement is quiet and cool with plenty of space . good place to stay.
I had a great stay at Chris' cabin. The space was cute, clean, and incredibly cozy with beautiful colored christmas lights strung artfully on the walls and from the ceiling. Chris himself was friendly and gracious and took the time to tell me about his experience living in Burlington. Would definitely recommend!
