Ruth was hospitable and a good host.
Thanks Ruth for a great stay!
My 4 year old son and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ruth and her 2 boys, who were real little sweeties! Ruth was very accommodating and helpful and not to mention a great lady.
Location was convenient and there's a fantastic pub with great food a short walk away.
Ruth was a very helpful and lovely host, and I would recommend staying with her to anyone. The couch was out of commission, so I slept on a mattress pad on the floor, which was fine. The house is a bit of a walk from the closest station, but that's probably not too much of a problem if you don't have a lot of luggage. The first night, Ruth got some Indian take-away for dinner, which was great because I was jet-lagged and couldn't seem to get off the couch. And it was delicious. Also, once you get to the station, central London is a short tube ride away.
Overall, it was a great experience.
Ruth is very helpful and the room perfect and cosy - all you need for your stay.
Ruth and her family were lovely hosts, and I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay with them. The house is close to the park and within easy reach of public transport, so convenient for my work in the south of London.
Good, inexpensive place if you are looking to stay in South East London. Ruth was a great host. I would definitely stay here again.
Ruth is a very gracious host. She gave me clear instruction about the transportation and the facilities in the house. The location is fantastic. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and private. I had a great time in London and would definitely stay here again next time in London. :)
Ruth's is a very nice place to stay. The room was large and pleasant with full length glass doors opening onto a balcony. Although the fold out couch wasn't actually working, Ruth improvised a futon mattress that was probably far more comfortable in the end. There's also a large table to work at if you need. I only met one of her young son--the elder--but he's very bright and personable to talk to. Additionally, Ruth was incredibly accommodating and flexible as my schedule changed.
The house itself is south of the central city, but there are train stations within a ten minute walk; grocery stores, a few pubs, coffee shops and contemporary restaurants are all a few minutes down the road. There's also use of appliances and the kitchen as you need. All in all Ruth's place is an incredibly good value for the money.
That was a great holiday for me - i stayed almost 2 weeks there on that quiet nice place. The house is well equipped and near to public transports, take-aways and shops. Absolutely recommended.
Ruth is very kind and her kids are well-behaved.
Ruth and George were easy guests. Punctual and friendly with good communication, they'd be welcome back anytime.
friendly people but a little lightweight in specifying their arrival.
It was a pity Ruth stayed with us one night only but everything was perfect :) !
I enjoyed having Ruth to stay and look forward to seeing her again on her next visit to my home on 23rd September.
Ruth is a woman very nice and sociable, quite and helpful. She let the apartment very clean as well as I gave her. I'm very pleased to met Ruth and her boyfriend. I hope she's going to come back to Rome, I'll be happy to give her hospitality again.
