This place is great. Good location (but you probably need a quad/golf car to get around), lovely setting and the apartment is really modern and looks new. Bladimir, the caretaker, picked us up in Nosara when we arrived, which was a nice touch too. It's alarmed, full aircon and feels secure with a security guard.
I'd certainly recommend this place and Jeff, who was v helpful.

Jeff's place is truly a gem. It's more beautiful and chic than in pictures and is a spot that any family or couple would enjoy. Take advantage of the property manager who will arrange transport, activities, and even buy you groceries in advance.
We were there for four days and found no need to have a car as long as you're happy to make the 30 min walk into town/10 minute walk to the beach.
One thing we were surprised by was the rather high cost of everything in town (except for cervezas). Expect to pay standard prices of any major North American city at restaurants, shops, etc.

- You must bring flashlights
- "Roads" are completely unmarked and the condo has no address, which means it's impossible to get a cab from town unless you can direct him all the way.
- When you arrive, ask to be walked down to the beach. It's very simple, but having to navigate in the pitch dark with no map, address, or orientation is next to impossible.
- Google maps is inaccurate so you must rely exclusively on your memory (read: easy on the cervezas) .
We felt very safe but were warned that there was considerable break-ins and thievery in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo in Nosara. Jeff was very accommodating with all of our requests and very fast to respond to any questions we had.
Stayed here for 10 days with two friends who surf and it worked out well for our trip to Nosara.
It's a different kind of place than other airbnb places I've stayed, which have all been people's homes. This one is more of a brand new retail condo space with sparse decoration & hotel style beds and towels. The king or queen sized bed was really comfortable and the place was very clean, as you'd expect from the general aesthetic.
The location is about a 15m walk to the beach, so you need to learn the nameless dirt roads of Playa Guiones to get around the small town, but once you figure it out, walking the roads becomes a relaxing ritual.
The air conditioning was strong and saved us on hot nights, and there's a TV you can use to watch Spanish language versions of Will Ferrell movies when you're burned out from the beach.
Only real issues were small: weak water pressure in the master bedroom shower, non-working dishwasher (not a big deal), and a strong smell of cleaning supplies that took a few days to wear off when we first got there. We mentioned those things to the property manager Tiffany, who was nice and helped us out a lot on our trip.
Jeff was really helpful too, even took us home our first night when we couldn't figure out the dirt roads in the dark. (If you're going to Nosara for the first time, pick up a town map and bring a flash light.) He's an easygoing American guy who's been living there for a while, knows the area well and is always around if you need him.
