I stayed at Patricia's with my three girl friends to attend the Georgetown Medical School graduation. We walked to Georgetown and the surrounding areas and felt safe. The apartment complex felt like a beautiful hotel. Her place is a mix of warm decor with modern organization and some great art. She was very responsive and helpful through both email and text with any questions I had (where's the coffee pot? where do I park?). There is valet parking for $8 for 24 hours, and during the weekend, free parking on the street.
It was the end of May so we were able to sit out and enjoy her patio in the mornings and evenings. The apartment felt like a private space because her patio does not directly abut another patio. My friends and I were very comfortable in the apartment. The living room and dining area were very spacious. The kitchen and bath are very modern. Patricia has everything you need to cook with and provided towels, sheets and blankets. Her organization helped us to find everything we were looking for. In the bedroom, two of my friends shared the bed, one friend slept on the futon, and I slept on the twin air mattress. All of which were very comfortable, especially the bed (I'm told ;-)). With this sleeping arrangement, there was not a lot of room left in the bedroom, but we were warned that it would be tighter there.
Graduation activities mostly fed us but we walked to whole foods for breakfast foods, snacks, and salad materials and went out to eat at Chef Geoff's, which was great. We finished our stay by ordering pizza at 2Amy's, recommended by Patricia. Wow! Delicious.
All in all great host, great apartment, and great area of the city.
Great location to visit nephew attending American university. We were booked for the white house tour and the bus stop for th n2 which dropped us almost in front of the white house was a 3 minute walk from patricia's back door. We couldn't find the blow dryer, texted Patricia, and within seconds got a response back as to where to find it. Prompt!! Very clean condo with a super comfy bed. Thank you Patricia !
LOVE HER !!! LOVE SOUTH AMERICAN PEOPLE !!! COME BACK ANYTIME
