Hola a todos! Soy una chica Colombiana que ama viajar y conocer nuevas culturas. Espero les guste mi hogar y se sientan en casa cuando vengan!
Nice apartment, excellent location, I reccomend this place to anyone looking to have a confortable stay in Bogota. Thanks Carolina!
We had a great time at Carolina's place. I loved using the office upstairs in the attic. Carolina was a great host, she even drove us to the airport at the end of our stay. That was extremely nice of her. If we stayed in Bogota again we'd stay here again.
Carolina is very nice, the apartment is stylish and comfortable, with a great DVD collection. Good safe neighborhood close to the National Museum.
I found Carolina's place really comfortable, it had style and theme that I enjoyed especially the lights and the colors.
The location is also perfect as it is in quiet residential area that is 5 mins away by foot from the bussle of the city.
I hope to return soon to Colombia and check in with Carolina to see if her place is available
Carolina was a lovely hostess, and her home is really beautiful with lots of natural sunlight. It's located under 10m walk to the Transmilenio and within walking distance to supermarkets/shops. There was only cold water in the kitchen, but this wouldn't matter much if your'e eating out. It is one the fourth floor (no elevator, if you have heavy luggage), but Carolina kindly helped me with my suitcase and this means you get to see the sunset. I would definitely recommend this apartment - it's a place you can feel comfortable in.
Carolina's place was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and in between everywhere we wanted to go.
the apartment has a lot of character, space, and Carolina was very accomodating during check-in and out.
Nice cozy appartment in a great location. Everything was really easy to get to (ie Monserrate, La Candelaria, Malls etc.) either by bus or cab.
The appartment was well equiped.. from kitchenstuff to movies, washingmachine/dryer to soundsystem & table games to towels.
The host was really helpfull. She called us multiple times to see if everything was OK. Also we had some plumbing issues the first weekend, but the host acted really quick and the problem was solved as soon as possible and we got compensated for it.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and we would consider renting it again if we would need to.
This was our initial introduction to South America. We stayed in Bogota, Colombia for 30 days, and this apartment was our "home" at the end of each day. The apartment is in a very good location - there is a vibrant neighborhood community surrounding the apartment: the local bakery, florist, Internet cafe, the person who we purchased our cups of fresh fruit and juice from, and the local neighborhood store are all located around our block. It was great to be able to see the local kids walking to school, the avocado man driving his cart down the street, the horse and cart picking up odds-and-ends - it's truly a real neighborhood. We really enjoyed becoming a part of it.
The bus line - Transmillenio - is 2 blocks down the street and we often got on the bus (ProFamilia station) to easily go to different parts of the City to explore. The apartment is also also centrally located and the National Museum, restaurants and La Candelaria are easy walks.
The apartment is small, cozy and has a nice layout between private and public space. We especially enjoyed the quiet nights as we slept with the bedroom window open; this in a city of over eight million people. There was fast wi-fi within the apartment, and the washer/dryer was conveniently located in the kitchen. There are stairs to climb though to reach this fourth floor refuge.
Carolina was a gracious and responsive host. She was easy to work with, could communicate in English and Spanish, and returned emails and voice messages quickly. Carolina's apartment turned out to be a great place to start a tour of South America, and we'd stay there once again with no hesitation.
We stayed here for 3 nights in Oct 2012. Carolina was very helpful and met us at the apartment late at night. This apartment oozes style!! Good shower, washer/dryer, Wi-fi and everything else you could need for a comfortable stay in Bogota.
We would recommend this apartment to our family and friends and would stay here again if we visit Colombia in the future...
Response from Carolina:
Thank you George for your review and I really hope that you'll come back soon!!
The apartment is very centrally located to everything Bogota has to offer. A great space for a good price. The apartment is fully fitted all you need to bring is your clothes. I rented the place for 3 months and will consider renting it again if I was ever to return to Bogota.
Response from Carolina:
Thank you Roelo, You are welcome anytime!!!!!
