My name is Mehran, I'm an Australian-born Iranian with a German upbringing (not as confused as it sounds). I'm in my late 20s, an easy-going professional, enjoy meeting people of diverse backgrounds and having meaningful conversations. In addition to Australia, I've lived in Germany, Israel and China and have travelled fairly extensively to some 50+ countries (just can't get enough of it).
I'm fairly tidy and like to provide an uplifting environment for others around me, am considerate of other people's privacy and space, but also enjoy a good laugh / kicking it back over good coffee or food.
I work in the digital space (many years in advertising but now increasingly working on startups). On the side, I enjoy travelling, languages, good food (and cooking), photography, abstract art and music.
I enjoy being hospitable and love what AirBnb has done to travel. I live in a stunning warehouse conversion that is, simply put, the real deal - in the heart of Chippendale, Sydney's inner city creative precinct, surrounded by great coffee shops, galleries (the famed White Rabbit gallery is under a minute walk away), great Pubs and more.
It's about a 10 minute walk to George St (the heart of Sydney's CBD) and there's also convenient access to buses and train stations (Central station is an under 10 min walk).
When available, I try to provide all my guests with complimentary airport pick up (I drive a zippy Bmw Coupe, may as well make use of it), and provide complimentary breakfast (fresh juice, eggs, cheese, avocado, rye toast, cereal, fruits and yogurt).
I love this city and know it fairly well - when available, I'm always happy to take guests out to see some of its delights.
