Wonderful home in a GREAT location! Maura and Sean are SUPER hosts, thank you very much for everything. We had a superb time, the tasty breakfast, the great conversations, information about the area, recommendations of where to go, what to see and when to see it, and lets not forget the best Irish humor. Can't wait to visit again, we truly loved it!
We had a wonderful time staying with Maura and Sean. They were very friendly and hospitable and we had fun chatting with them. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, they went above and beyond for us. The room was very clean and cozy, with everything we needed. The location was around 30 minutes drive from Dublin which worked well as we had a rental car. Overall a great experience!
Great, very kind and helpful host. She did a lovely breakfast for us and gave us information about things to do around the area. The accommodation was very good. I'd recommend it 100%
Thanks, very kind of you to say so.
Maura and her husband were so welcoming and accommodating. The room was lovely with tea, coffee (and even biscuits!) in a lovely peaceful house. Breakfast was incredible! Thank you for a lovely stay!
We were made to feel most welcome by very genial hosts. The accommodation was very comfortable and just as described by Maura. The breakfasts were a real treat and provided the opportunity for Maura and Sean to tell us about the many attractions of Dublin and County Wicklow. All in all - top marks!

We had two great great nights here!!It was our first bnb experience and it turned out totally amazing. Sean and Maura are so nice and soooo kind to us and very open minded to other culture which we appreciated a lot. Breakfast was just delicious especially Maura's marmalade! Sean showed us his farm and cattle, and Maura told us many things about Ireland, religion, sports, food and history. She even printed out the recipe of rice pudding after we told us we never tried it. It was really good that we could experience Irish culture with such sweet Irish people!! We already miss Patch so much, such a lovely doggy:)
We had a wonderful experience in Dublin with Maura. The location was out of the city, which we were looking forward to, very quiet and private. The space was bright and roomy and we especially appreciated all the toiletries in the bathroom in case we had forgotten something, which we had!
Patch the dog was also a highlight for us!!! Lots of options for a vegetarian breakfast left us full and happy as well.
Definitely recommend. We would also suggest having a car is a must as it is a rural area and walking back from the bus stop in the evening requires a ten minute walk through the dark so maybe park your car near the stop if you would like to utilize the transit system (which is fairly simple) and enjoy some Guinness in the amazing city of Dublin.
Maura and Sean own a lovely farmhouse about 50 car minutes away from Dublin city center.
We stayed for two nights and the two are lovely hosts - warmhearted and easy to talk to. Breakfast was yummy and full of stories and laughter. Thanks for hosting us!
The accommodation was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety from cereals to a cook breakfast. A chat was always to be had at breakfast finding out lots of places of interest. The location was excellent for Bray, Greystones, Glendalough, Sally Gsp, the waterfall and the motorway. Excellent hosts and accommodation.
My husband and I stayed for a weekend in Maura's place. She and her husband are great host, very interesting people to chat with. The location of the place is in the countryside at 10-15 min walk from the bus stop and 15-20 min from Bray village by bus. Distances are far but having a car is the best way to explore the area, also you can visit either Bray or Powerscourt Garden. We had a great time there and enjoyed the walk to the river.
Maura and Sean were perfect guests: very nice persons, natural and friendly, respectful -they left the boat spotless. Thank You, You are welcome any time You wish. Regards, Herbert.
Perfect guests, hardly saw them but I hope they enjoyed their stay in Selva
