i grew up in the quaint village of Armaiolo. my family still lives in the same area .
i moved to the states 12 years ago and i currently live in the beautiful Sausalito California.
Stefano's flat is an a really beautiful part of Tuscany, located on top of a hill in the lovely village of Armaiolo. Having a car is an absolute must, though. The buses are sporadic at best, and we had to hitchhike a few times. The flat is cosy and fairly nice. The town is very small, but the time we were there, there were lots of kids running around yelling and screaming late into the night. The bed is also not very comfortable, and neither was the pull out sofa. Stefano was very good at responding to messages before we arrived, but he is in California, and the only person we could contact while there was his mother, who doesn't speak any english. All in all, I would recommend this place for a young couple (with good backs), who brings a car and earplugs. I don't want to sound too critical, but I want people to know what to expect!
