Originally from Canada, I've spent the past 15 years living in various parts of Europe, most recently in Warsaw, Poland.
I earn a living as a freelance translator and editor, though I've started doing more and more work in the area of landscape and fine-art photography over the past couple of years.
I'm adventurous and passionate about travel. I love exploring new places and meeting new people. At the moment, I'm just getting started on what is going to be a lengthy journey lasting about six months that will take me from Warsaw back to Warsaw. After a month in Canada, I'm now traveling in the United States, with plans to visit Yosemite and Death Valley before heading to the desert canyons of the Southwest and possibly north to the Grand Teton and Yellowstone. I'll eventually travel up the east coast back into Canada and then fly to Iceland for the next leg.
I'm somewhat reserved but very friendly and open-minded. In other words, instead of trying to be the life of the party, I'd rather find a quiet corner for an interesting chat.
