We had booked the above villa thinking its near baga's lane but due to some location error the villa turned out to be at some other place. But it was very kind of Mr Manoj to accommodate us in his other property which was very near to baga.
Had a great stay here! The apartment was sparkling clean, people are friendly, helpful and always there whenever called. The place feels like home and is fully equipped. Super convenient (email hidden)wton's is just downstairs & all the Candolim action is just round the corner. Lovely complex, nice pool, sweet people, homely vibe, safe & very convenient! Outstanding for the price..would surely recommend this place for the Goa goers. Kudos to the entire team..Keep it up!
Manoj is very friendly and good person. He is always ready to help and solve any topic. Want to say thank you to his staff too. the villa is very good , very good location . I strongly recommend to stay there.
This Place is difficult to find at first , even for local taxi driver
There is common pool between no of villas in the complex
They have so called restaurant , which do not store any kind off food , for example like lemon , we ordered it early morning & got it delivered by restaurant in evening which was of no use for us .
They have one female care taker who is never around to fulfill guest requirement.
Well good about this place Villa is big.
We paid lots for the place which is not worth even half , during payment the owner of villa increased price to double , we booked it bcoz of scarcity of place the area during that time .
Be Carefull !!
Rest place is ok !
It was a good experience though there was shortage of towels and toilet paper. Everything else was great.
The pictures give an accurate depiction of the place. Its a good option for people who are traveling a group and would like to spend time within them than look out for Goa parties. So it was a good decision for us. Finding the place is a little difficult, but a call or two with the manager and you would be able to find the place. The property is in good shape and condition and is a quiet location. The best part is the plunge pool which, although shared with another villa is more or less for yourself.
What should be improved: An onsite manager or staff for assistance, Daily towels change and some ready reckoner for people to understand what is nearby like maps, eateries, pubs etc. are few basic things that could improve the experience.
Whats Not so good: There is a cow shed nearby which stinks at times. But once you inside the villa its not really a problem.
Its a self sufficient Villa and you would not have any major complains in booking it.
The villa was amazing and was clean. All the bedrooms were spacious and with clean linen and towels. The villa was exactly like the pictures or even better. The highlight of the villa was the pool which is like a private pool right next to thr living room.
I stayed there for 3 nights with 2 kids and 6 adults. We really enjoyed the stay however we found the location a bit away from the main market but it was good in a way as it was peaceful. The staff was co-operative and helpful.
Appartment was clean, bathroom could be considered as the Indian standard (not western standards), shower had cold water only. Swimming pool was average, could have been cleaner. Location is good, a small beach (Ozra beach) can be reached by foot within 10 minutes and is perfect for swimming. Kwick-E mart as well as restaurants are located in the same street. WIFI was horrible and could only be used at night and in the morning outside of the appartment.
Overall the Calangute Casitas were pretty good. For what we were looking for they worked out well. Main problem was they were very hard to find, although most places are hard to find in Goa as there are no streets names or numbers. We spent about 45mins driving around in taxis asking everyone we came across. Also, the phone number on the listing was disconnected, so that didn't help being lost! Other than that, the accomodations were pretty good (although the pool outside our Casita was green and being treated so we used the other pool), and it was in a fairly central location. We had 8 people and we fit comfortably.
