Amazing, beautiful location. Everything was clean and as advertised. Accepted us nicely with my mixed Husky (the woman that greeted us didn't speak English but communication was minimal and easy). I would definitely look to stay there again.

The communication prior to our arrival was great- Our bus came in late and we had a taxi take us to the guest house, which was tough to find in the dark. We pulled up and Froska, Emil's mom, quickly smiled through the window to greet us. We were shown to a street view room (not the one pictured) and (after asking), Emil agreed to refund 10 Euro. That room was nice, though the bed was super uncomfortable! We were able to switch rooms the next night and the view over the Black Sea is phenomenal. Really, few places I've stayed have a view that amazing. The location was great right in old Sozopol on a cobbled street, so easy to get to everything. It should be noted that this bed was also extremely umcomfortable, but everything else about our stay, including the friendly Froska, was excellent.
Es war alles sehr gut vorbereitet und entsprach auch vollkommen meinen Erwartungen. Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft in phantastischer Lage! Auch die Pflege des Zimmers während des Aufenthaltes war vorbildlich.
Perfect place, very nice, very well located, nice host. we loved it
Very nice guesthouse. Nice people. Gorgeous view from the little terrace - right at the seaside, sand strand about 5-10 walking minutes away. Close to nice restaurants. WiFi works without problems. Only downside is the bathroom - there is no partition between the shower and the basin and toilet, therefore the whole bathroom is always wet and you cannot store and toiletries in the bathroom
I really enjoyed my three week stay here and will definitely be staying here again if it is available for my next visit! Emil and his mother were amazing; they were very friendly and obliging about everything and have very well kept rooms that they clean daily, with the best views at the end of old town in Sozopol looking towards St. Ivan's island. Couldn't ask for anything more. :)
We stayed at Deep Blue Guest house at the end of April/early May and it was lovely. it was in a beautiful position right on the sea, and we watched dolphins in the morning and evening! It was very comfortable and pretty! Emil was amazing, our Air Bulgaria flight was delayed 6 hours, and so we missed our connecting Air Bulgaria flight to Burgas. We eventually flew to Varna the next morning and were mini-bussed to Burgas. During all this time Emil was in touch with me by email. He was incredibly patient and helpful, and arranged for a taxi driver, Vesco, to meet us and take us to Deep Blue. (Vesco also took us to the train station at the end of our stay, and helped us buy our train tickets) Emil's mother, Froska, was warm and charming and helpful showing us in and helping us if we needed anything while we were there. We would totally recommend Deep Blue Guest House, and Emil and his family and friends who made our stay wonderful, (Please don't get the impression they were intrusive in any way, they only helped if we asked) We would definitely stay there again, and Sozopol was beautiful too!
